Oh yes, in the name of all that is holy in world of fro-yo…
TWO friends today recommended YL and preferred it over PB. So I tried it.
My impression of YL = too many choices!, self-serve, portion non-control. And my cup didn’t turn out as pretty as the ones the PB pros craft.
I’ll endure the sickly-sweet peppiness and stick with PB as my go to, and make a PB-like cup when forced to visit YL 🙂 Added bonus? PINK is in the name – lol.
Which side of this divide do you stand? Give me the pros and cons….maybe I’ll switch with a little YL convincing!

Hi ya Pink! We go to Yogurtland because it’s closest to us and we like their tart lavors. Also like their coconut jelly topping. We’re too lazy to go to Santana Row

I like Yogurtland more because you can control the portions and there are so many more flavors! Plus it is less expensive because you pay by the ounce. I don’t really go to either one much anymore though. I prefer gelato!

Yogurtland because you can try a bite of everything if you want. I’m indecisive and like variety.

oooh i’ve never heard of yogurtland. i like pinkberry’s salted caramel flavor a LOT! i’ve also been to red mango, which is delicious

Ugh, sorry but I hate these froyos. If I wanted something that tasted like plain yogurt, I’d eat some plain yogurt. And slapping some fruit on top does not mask the sour taste of plain yogurt! I’ll take a Tasty D over Pinkberry any day.

@KitKatNYC: Funny, that’s exactly how I feel about sweet frozen yogurt. If I wanted something that tastes like ice cream, I’ll eat ice cream! I love a bowl of tart plain yogurt with fruit on top.

I vote Yogurtland because I like to be able to control how much of everything I get. and it comes out cheaper.
We have a local independant yogurt place next to my house called Yogo-Tango which is hands downt he best froyo out of all the ones I’ve had. Their plain and mango flavors are perfect. If anyone is in the LA area, give them a try (corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood).

I’ve only heard of Pinkberry, but never been to either one. We have tons of yogurt places around here. I like Yoguri! 🙂

Never had pinkberry, never heard of yogurtland. Up here where I live we have Yogen Fruz – SOOOOO GOOD. They take either vanilla or chocolate fro yo and then top it with fruit, or they do a blended version which is to die for.
Vanilla fro yo blended with raspberries and pineapple – I die.

I now am dying for fro-yo and have none on the boat. Thanks, pink, thanks.
I will have to come visit and you will have to take me to both places so I can decide. …and I need to find a good fro-yo place in my new hometown! I hope they have one! D:

I vote….Yogurt Land…though I find myself at Pinkberry more out of convenience!

I love Pinkberry! Yum! Red Mango is also quite good.

We don’t have either, but I love Orange Leaf. I love the fact that I can have as little or as much as I like. Plus, I can mix flavors.
