Laurenplusalex:  Face Book. I hate it with the intensity of a thousand suns. I can see how it can be useful if you have family that is spread out or you are in the military or something, but most of the time its just an edited, idealized version of life. I see more drama that stems from the fake lives of facebook than from things that happen IRL! Honestly, my life is really not interesting enough to have a whole website devoted to it, and neither are most peoples, so they have to create things to make themselves seem interesting. People will ask me “did you see such and such thing on FB”? When I say I don’t have one, they just look at me like I fell from Mars. Uhm….do you really want an update on how I walked my dogs, or a pic of what I made for dinner? News flash….those things are not interesting to anybody. I won’t even go into how its used and abused by teenagers…./rant.

I hate skinny jeans/pants. You won’t ever catch me wearing those because I think they’re just ugly. I hate how they take up shelf space too. I need 37″ inseam so my pants selection was limited enough before they came along!

Laurenplusalex:  the 80s. seriously its in right now? love neon though.

Also the one nail thing… some of it looks good but when everyone has it, its just getting out of control.

ombre. why cuz everyone thinks i have ombre hair when im just growing it out… and people pay for that.

cell phones! im 27 but my friend has a 19 year old nanny. holy crap she is on it like white on rice. its annoying how connected people are with it. when you go out with a couple of people and they are on their phones the whole time. ugg. why did you ask me out to spend money on beer that would be cheaper at home. i can do nothing there.

coconut water. taste like crap. why not just eat a coconut?

Omg that Peplum trend has to go! It looks horrible on everyone. I have no curves and it even makes my hips look huge. ombre,,, unless your hair is past your boobs ombré just looks like your hair hasn’t been done/greasy, but I think it’s cute if your hair is super long. Pointy nails, they just look scary lol

Ombre,  minimalist décor,  décor colours of sage, olive, brown, tan, taupe, burnt orange, etc, the early-mid 70s, boho, the health and beauty uber alles lifestyle & stupid surgeries and procedures initiated by that lifestyle, Duck Dynasty, shirts that cannot be worn with a decent bra.

Facebook and reality TV are the two that come to mind.

Sheer shirts! I will never think it’s acceptable to just have your bra hanging out like that. I think it looks gross and not very classy.

Leggings as pants. They aren’t pants. Were they pants, they wouldn’t be called leggings. They would be called pants.

Seafood. It’s stinky.

Girls walking around in those bandeau things, I HATE IT. It is not okay to basically wear just a bra. And those cropped shirts. I do not wish to see every girls midriff.

I hate nail polish! I absolutely hate wearing it, the feel of it sitting on my fingers sends shivers down my spine. Sometimes people look great wearing nail polish, but for the most part I hate it.

I hate being drunk and drunk people. I also hate owning a house. My partner and I recently purchased our first home and it has been one of my worst experiences ever. Never have I been so depressed, anxious and remorseful about anything. I’m miserable.

Oh let’s see: I hate tea since every tea I’ve ever tried tastes like hot water. I’ve tried a lot too, tried steeping them longer, using hotter water/cooler water, etc.

I hate “open-concept” houses. Maybe I’m weird, but I like walls. I don’t need my kitchen to be part of the rest of my living room/dining room.

I also hate skinny jeans but that’s more because if I sit in them they ride up around my ankles and I hate all pants that do that. And that is probably the reason why I never hem pants.

Laurenplusalex:  jewelry – specifically expensive jewelry such as diamonds, expensive shoes/purses/make-up, sports, tea, eating anything that comes out of the water, northface/columbia clothing – I don’t get it…

can you tell I don’t spend my money on material things? 🙂
