I'm just bumping this for more poll responses.
I wouldn't do bangs--looks like you just need a good trim and some shaping.
I wouldn't do bangs--looks like you just need a good trim and some shaping. I've got hair that frizzes in humidity too, and I just got bangs last week. I'm sorry I did it now as they go nuts in the weather!
@UK Bride: Maybe the in-between stage would work? So it has the effect of something across my forehead but is still long enough so it's a little more under control? The shorter my hair is, the more out of control it can get.
<<<<Naturally curly frizzy hair is mine, too. I cannot do bangs. However, yours do much more tamed mine! I do like bangs on you. Perhaps you can start with some REALLY choppy layers around your face to give it more lift and face framing.

Yeah, I think the side-swept choppy look could work for you--I agree with Ivyperks that they suit you, just might not work if they're proper bangs! I have to flat iron the patootie out of mine...

I generally like bangs, but I think you look better without them. How short are you thinking of going?
@kaylee26: Probably around the length in the middle picture, maybe just a little bit shorter.
Go for the bangs, but longer and side-swept!! Post pics after you do it :)

I love my hair when I have bangs and they actually behave. However, due to Columbia being hot and humid about 80% of the year, they never really seem to do what I want them to do so I've grown them out. My hair is very curly/frizzy in the conditions here so that's why they never like to stay nice. Now we're moving up to Minnesota so I figure with the winter being so much longer, there's more chances to have them look nice, less times when I'll just have to pin them back. Here are some pictures and a poll.
Should I get bangs? (Maybe a little shorter but shown in the picture with the candy lips which I know my husband will love - this is the best picture I could find of the bangs). Should I get an in between type deal? (Shown in the washed out picture but you can still see the hair) Or should I leave it as is and just cut it up to my shoulders? (It's shown as it is now, although a little shorter, and I would cut it up to right below my shoulders)
I definitely want to cut it up to right below my shoulders because I'm tired of how long my hair is. I will also include what I think I want my inspiration picture to be for her. My hair is curly so I'd probably wear it straight half the time and curly/straightened bangs kind of blended in (the top of my hair isn't curly) for half of the time. What do you think?

Side-swept bangs (around this length, maybe just a little shorter)
In between/longer bangs/shorter front layers
How it is now, just shorter
