Holaaaa!
My best friend and I are getting tattoos. I'm just wondering if there are any tattooed bees out there that wanna show off!! I have two and love them. Am getting two more (one with my best friend, one on my own) next Friday. Eeeek! Excited!

Here are mine =) I have another on my foot but I don't have the pics =( Annnd I had two anchors on my hips but had to take em out =(
I have a lasso and spur under my pant line on my pelvic bone (boy did that sucker hurt when he hit the bone!), but not comfortable sharing it. I am getting one more on my rear and really want one right where yours is at, just not sure what I want yet there.
I have neither... 
I am very very peticular about things so it's taking me forever to finalize a piece I want done on my left side.
@tksjewelry: That would be cute! I wanna get one in that area too because I have some pretty bad scarring where my anchors were, so I wanna get it covered with a tattoo =) Do you have any ideas??

These will not be my last. I plan on getting a few more (names of children) and possibly one on my foot.
@nineteen87: Haha I was the same way!!!!!! Once you get your first you won't care as much I think... My first one was in memory of an event that lifted me out of a deep, dark depression in my life. So I go back to that place when I look at that tattoo every time I get sad and it brings me up =)
@mrsbruff2b: OMG! I love that pin-up girl! Well I love them both (especially your facial expression in the second one lol!). They are both very cute!!! I am getting this tattoo in the same place (opposite side) as your pin-up next Friday: (my best friend and I are getting our initials embedded into the key)
One on the back of my neck (it's a little squished here, but it's my zodiac symbol, a ram), an ouroboros between my shoulder blades (the snake that eats it's own tail), my Katrina memorial on my left shoulder blade--a fleur-de-lis with NOLA written around it and 8-29 underneath it--my dad has a matching one on his arm (this one was the most painful for me), and CELLAR DOOR on my left inner wrist, and I have one more planned after I'm done having kids.
@Mrs Sarah McK: I love the bride/tattoo pics!!!! How fun. I heart fleur-de-lis a loooot, my mom used to decorate our house with them and she's my favorite so it makes me think of her. I've never head of ouroboros! That's cool!
I plan on getting at least a dedication for my dad somewhere too. I have probably 8 different ideas but am so scared that I'm going to mess up on a tiny part. My SO has two and is planning on getting another one in the next year or so.
@nineteen87: My fiance is against tattoos but he lets me get them so that works lol. Part of me wishes he would get them so we can share that love for tattoos but as long as he doesn't restrict me I'm happy. My next one after this (I think, I haven't decided for sure how I wanna honor her) will be a lion to represent leo's, because my mom's a leo and she's amazing..lol.

I have more than one. But this is the biggest so figured I would just share this one.
I've posted mine a couple times before. I have 2. A star on my right hand (for my mom) and a hummingbird on my left shin (just because).
ETA: Not really unique anymore, but I have my nose pierced. I also had my lip pierced when I was 16 but I took it out after being asked 29483 times a day "OMFG DID THAT HURT?!"
@FiFiKib: I was so proud of myself, I am a HUGE pain weenie and I didn't cry one bit. DH was there holding my hand so I think that helped. Wow, yours is beautiful! I don't think I could take all that, but I would love too.
@andersonsarah: I sat down with the artist and told him about myself and he came up with it all on his own. It was perfect for me. DH and him talked for a long time while working on it. Have you asked your FH what he would put on you, I think mine had alot of influence on mine. I am trying to figure out how to incorporate DHs arm wrestling into the one I want for my side, but it is harder since I don't AW myself. I am putting a spark on my rear since neither of us believe in names and I call him sparky because of what he does for a living. He drew one out, but it needs alot of work before it goes permanent on me, LOL.
@vegancookie: Yeah lip ring!!! Used to have one but I took it out and lost the stud.. Miss it lots
@CarolinaCola: The tattoo on your hand, do you think it affects your job opportunities at all? I would love LOVE LOVE one right there but I work in the medical field and am going into nursing... Definitely have some nurses at my work with tattoos but I dunno if they got them after they got a job. Very cute!
My second tattoo! I got it for my birthday in 2010. I used to have my eyebrow and my lip pierced, but it doesn't go so well with my chosen profession.

@tksjewelry: That is a really good idea! I will totally ask him what he sees on me. He likes the ones I have but am scared that I'm going to turn out like Kat Von D so isn't really "for" any more; maybe if it had value to him then he would like it more!! Arm wrestling, that would be a fun tattoo! Hmmm, maybe like Rosie the Ripper arm wrestling some other chick so it's feminine but still represents what he does? I dunno he might find that offensive but I think it'd be cool. =)

FI has an anchor on his foot, excuse is webbed toe (he would kill me right now).
Yes, yes, we did the taboo and got tattoos over the summer (this is his 5th and my 1st). We chose anchors for a personal reason and also being smart enough that if anything ever should happen between us we don't have out names tatted on each other!
I have a spiral on the back of my right hip that I don't have a picture of. I want to get a lotus on my left foot, but I'm not sure when to do it. anyone have any tips on when the best time of year is to get a foot tat?
@ella86: That is EXACTLY where I want my next tattoo! Very beautiful work!!! I saw I tattoo of a zipper unzipping someone's webbed toe it was pretty awesome =) My best friend wants an anchor but her sister just got one and she doesn't wanna copy her, lol. She's mad!!! I love that bikini picture!!! I gotta remember to have FH take one like that for me in Hawaii. lol.
@pinkandsparkly: I never had any regard for time. If you donate blood avidly, I would donate first, then a week or so later get the tattoo cuz you can't donate for a while after that. I think that spring before it gets warm enough to swim would be the best so you can give it a break to heal before jumping in the water =)
@andersonsarah: Thanks! I wanted to go with a tatoo artist who was into detail to get a more "Artsy" look instead of a simpler look. I am really happy with how it turned out. And I got it on my "love handle" ;) haha How fitting for a couples tattoo LOL
I have a flamingo on my inner arm as a memorial of my mother. My cousin has the exact same one in the same place but with different flowers and my other cousin (her sister) has a cartoon flamingo on her ankle/calf.
And then I have these on my hips to remind me that it's ok to mess up sometimes and that I will be forgiven. Temptation & Redemption
I really need new/better pictures of my tattoos. I have 5 total, left inner ankle ("Even Angels Fall"), right inner ankle (row of white dots and Horde symbol), and right hip (star/moon design, lizard). I don't have any unique piercings but I had my belly button, and my ears have been pierced over 20 times (I really only wear the first two holes though) and my first holes are 6 gauge.
This is my foot, colon cancer ribbon for my mother, and the verse is: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."...Getting more AFTER the big day to appease mama :)
Mine are pretty simple and boring but I will show them off anyways ...
First one is a sheep. I have always loved sheep (not really sure why!) and when I saw this particular one, I knew it had to be a tattoo! He is right on the inside of my hip bone and I love him so much! He brings out the kid in me :)
This one is just an "A" for my name, Amanda. My fiance actually drew this A on a drawing that he gave me years ago. I fell in love with it and got it tattooed within the last year. It's on my ribs just at my bra line.
@ella86: That's a great way of explaining where that is! lol! I keep trying to explain it like... "lower back on the side but not quite the hip..." lol. Love handle is much easier!

@andersonsarah: Well, I don't work, so I'm not entirely sure. My best friend, however, is in nursing school and she has a colorful flower tattoo on her wrist and when she does clinicals in the hospital, she has to wear long sleeves to cover it up. I think the policies vary from hospital to hospital.
@CarolinaCola: Well, that's good to know! I have a couple scribe co-workers that have to cover there stuff up but I think it's by choice, because some nurses definitely show their stuff. LOL.
@andersonsarah: My mother loved flamingos - like the cheesy lawn ornament type. lol So now whenever I see flamingos I think of her and sunflowers were her favorite flower. It's hard to tell in my pic but the flamingo has green eyes like she did and of course it has a little halo.
