@juliana192:  That really sucks! V-Day plans for most of my coworkers have been messed up because we were supposed to have a half-day at work Friday, and now it will have to be a full day. Nowhere near as bad as what you’re having to deal with, though.

My two cents? Go to the game. It is SO HARD to get tickets to big rivalry games once you graduate.

@juliana192: Sorry to hear you had tix and can’t go (I’m jealous).  GO HEELS!  I’m going to assume you’re cheering for the correct shade of blue.  Let me tell you….as an alum (graduated in ’06)….pick the game.  This musical can be caught later – whether here or in another city.  Go to the game.  You will have trouble finding a ticket once you’re gone, and even if you do – it’s not the same experience as you get when you’re a student.  Go to the game next week.

Stay warm!

@juliana192:  Are you at UNC or Duke? I’m in Raleigh myself, but a Meredith and State grad. I am sick to death of this weather. Just. Over. It.

Better then risking the lives of way too many people for trying to go out to watch the game. I am a NC girl but not rooting for either team. Sorry but this girl is an App girl! Go Mountaineers!

I am definitely over the weather though. Took me 1.5 hours to get home when I left work at 1030 this morning. But for what it is worth I don’t have to work tomorrow and that is rare for SECU to be closed.

I just think a lot of those other people probably had other things to do at the school before the game too but who knows. Anyone with sense would have left earlier. I’m just glad people got home safe. I know some people were stranded. One of my friends posted that it took her kids 4 hours to get home leaving at 130. I would have gone out of my mind. Companies really need to look more into people safety.

Glad you got to go to the game! I’m in PA, and we are also experiencing a lot of snow. I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays, and of those ten days that we should have had so far this semester we’ve had five. Now my school is considering adding days on somewhere in the school year. No thank you! Right now we are at about 50 degrees temp wise, so some of our four feet of snow is melting, but we are expecting another big snow fall to come next week, and my birthday is coming up really soon. I will be so mad if we have to cancel my birthday plans.
