So I was just driving home from dropping Fiance off at work (car problems) and on the way back to our place there was a guy on the side of the road. He had on camo pants, a military backpack, sporting a beard, and large American flag. The part of teh road was narrow so I didn’t have anywhere to stop. I remember seeing something on Facebook a while back of a guy who was walking w/ a dog but no dog was around. I pulled into a nearby parking lot and called Fiance, an Army Vet to see what he might have known. While on the phone he stopped in a parking lot across the street and looked to be in some pain while stretching out his legs and making phone call. It’s drizzling and I felt really bad, being attached to the military makes me really sensitive to Vets. So I mustered up the courage to drive over and ask if he needed help or anything. He was so nice and explained everything to me along with giving me a flyer. He’s walking 400 miles from Columbus, Ohio to Alrington, Virginia for Wounded Warrior Project.
I know you’re not supposed to post things on bee like blogs and such but I know there are many military brides/ brides-to-be on here and just thought it was a really cool story. So if you get the time check out his story
