    I’ve had to write thank-you notes for multiple scholarships, and they all wanted them typed . . . some actually had an online form where we put the note, and it was printed on school letterhead and given an e-signature, then sent on to the donor. If you have really nice handwriting, you could do a handwritten note, but make sure to scan a copy of it for yourself so that you have proof you sent it (my scholarships could be withheld for not sending the letters!)
