He is so so precious! That is wonderful that you two are giving him a loving home. Poodles are super smart and I have no doubts that he will love his new name and his new home

He's adorable! I'm so glad you adopted (we adopted 2 cats) some people just forget that there are so many animals that need a good home. Can't wait to see pics when you get him home!

So we actually got to take him home today! The vet wants to wait 6 months before neutering him because we want his legs to get better first. And we have to wait a month before his other treatment, so they wanted us to take him home today! He's been doing great so far... turns out he's already crate-trained and housetrained! He's such a sweetheart! I'm going to try to attach a pic, but it never works for me.

My brother just called to tell me that he is adopting another dog on Sunday and it makes me want to get another one ;) I don't think I could ever have enough dogs hehe
Awww! Little Melvin is super cute. Congrats on your new dog! I think it is awesome that you adopted a rescue dog...that is how I have come by all of my pets and they are the best! :)

We adopted a mini poodle from a vet/shelter today! He's between 1 and 2 years old, and was found paralyzed on the side of the highway. The vet was able to rehabilitate him, and he's just the sweetest little guy! He's only 12 lbs, fully grown, which is perfect for us. We've been thinking about getting a dog for about 6 months now, so it wasn't a hasty decision at all. I don't have any pictures, but here's the link to him:

We won't be able to take him home for a week or two because he still has to be neutered and is still undergoing some treatment from his paralysis, but we can go visit him as often as we want to bond with him! We're going to re-name him Melvin because we aren't too fond of Jimmy. I can't wait to bring him home!
