FH and I are in a homegroup with our church that rotates hosts every Sunday evening and everyone else signs up to bring another component for the meal. This week we’re having kabobs at someone else’s house (lamb, just for FH- he’s over the moon that they remembered) and someone else is bringing rice or couscous and maybe hummus. I immediately volunteered for dessert since I can’t bake for fun normally with FH being on WW and is bad about snacking. In hindsight I should have signed up for drinks and made Moroccan mint tea, but its too late now.
I’m at a loss of what to make, I’m thinking something fruity and lighter because it’s been so warm these past few days (upper 70s-mid 80s in March and beginning of April, really?) Good strawberries are starting to show up at our HEB, the blueberries still look pretty small and sour, but everything else seems okay (but haven’t checked the peach situation lately).
So ladies, any ideas?
