Turkey burgers and sweet potato tots. I'm tired and DH is cooking so it's gotta be simple.
I have no idea! I need to figure out something to make using the chicken I have.
We are having this hungry girl recipe-sweet sesame chicken, with brown rice and a side salad. It's our version of homemade/healthy chinese food :)

Pesto chicken stuffed shells with broccoli - I've never made it before but I'm thinking it's going to be delicious!
I thought we were doing steak, rice and asparagus but then I remembered it was Pancake Tuesday and I jump on any excuse for breakfast for supper! So I think we'll have pancakes and bacon and some fruit on the side.
Well it's 18:30 here so we've just had dinner. My SO got a half day at work so he went to the butcher and made me stew for dinner.
Now this is a man who doesn't make any food, doesn't cook, etc, so I was really pleasantly suprised and I loved not having to worry about dinner when I got in from uni :)
I have a pot roast in the crock pot with some carrots. And mashed sweet potatoes! I can't wait to go home to smell my house!
@julies1949: Mmm I love curry.
@MissGreen: I had some fantastic sweet potato tots out of a restaurant this weekend. Do they sell them in the store? I usually make my own sweet potato fries, but I've never thought to look for tots.
@MissBoPeep: I made this last night, and it was a big hit...the only thing I did different was use real grated parmesan cheese, not the stuff in the green can. And I probably used double the amount of garlic, because I heart it. Not the healthiest thing I've ever made, but whatever. http://ducksoven.blogspot.com/2011/01/panko-crusted-chicken-with-lemon-butter.html
@Bostongrl25: I'll have to try making my own Chinese food, that sounds delicious (not to mention much healthier!)
@MrsWrangler: Well, I don't see how you can go wrong with pesto, chicken, shells and broccoli. Sounds like a winner!
@CassandraC: I love Brinner! We used to do it about once a week, but the smell of bacon cooking makes me sick at the moment, and it's just not the same without it :(
@flownmuse: That's so nice. I wish my DH would cook more...but I'm home during the day, and he usually doesn't get home from work until 9 or 10, so it's not really feasible.
@Gabrielle123: Heh, it's so immature that I can't think about pot roast without picturing Blonde Johnny Depp. I love sweet potatoes, though!
@julies1949: yummo! what recipe do you use for that?
not sure what I am having....probably tuna and brown rice and broccoli
For DH: probably cook him chicken and rice
In honor of Fat Tuesday, I am making "Firebird Pasta" - I've never made it, but found the recipie on pintrest & wanted to make a zesty cajun dish!
Since I don't feel like going to the store for something else... BLTs with whole grain bread & spinich leaves & beer cheese soup from our Tastefully Simple christmas stash, lol.
I found this on Pinterest, so I'm giving it a whirl with some pork tenderloins:

@Mrs Sarah McK: Yea they do! I was shocked when he brought them home but he found them at Kroger in the organic food section.
I'm making a chicken noodle casserole and salad. DH won't eat it. Last time I made it he said "that looks like the worst food possible." I stopped cooking for him at that point.
@MissGreen: That's awesome! I pretty much love sweet potato anything. We don't have a Kroger here, but I'll keep an eye out at Wegman's.
@missrobots: Dannnng if my DH said that about my food I'd stop cooking for him too!
FI teaches a lab until 7:30, so I am on my own tonight. Normally I would indulge in Taco Bueno, but since the wedding is now a little more than 2 weeks away I am rethinking my choice : )
Maybe bagel pizza with sugar-free pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni, mushrooms, and spinach? Not sure yet though..
ice chips.. lol jk probably tilapia and vegetables. Ugh! I can't wait until my wedding is over so I can start eating yummy meals more often!
I have to make a dish for a potluck tomorrow, so I'm making my usual (Barefoot Contessa roasted shrimp & orzo pasta with lemon, parsley, dill, scallions, feta, and cherry tomatoes) plus extra for us to have for dinner tonight.
@SaraP2012: Me too! FI hates it, so I usually only get it when he's not around : )
We have Taco Tuesdays too! We ended up swapping a bit this week though and had taco salad last night. Tonight I think we're going to have pancakes, bacon, and eggs.
its pancake tuesday here, so Pancakes!!

:D
Ok, I'm officially hungry now. I'm just doing tilapia filet with seafood stuffing (from costco.) I would hate to let y'all think I was making it from scratch!
@MrsWrangler: It is!!

It's so easy, and unlike most of her recipes, not loaded with butter and cream. It's my go-to dish for a crowd, and can be made more inexpensively by swapping out the shrimp for shredded roasted chicken breast.
Pork chops with mushrooms and shallots, salad and quinoa. I love quinoa. :)
@thepoTATErs: My fiance doesn't like it either. What's their problem?
Italian marinated chicken. I'm not sure what sides, but it's up to FI.
I need to go to the grocery store, so I am thinking I will pick up something while I am there.
If not, I'm making breakfast for dinner! French toast and scrambled eggs. :)

I know it's still pretty early in the day, but, well, I'm always thinking about food and love reading what other people are making, especially since it's harder for me to be an adventurous cook right now, what with having two very picky children in the house.
For us, tonight is Taco Tuesday...my favorite day of the week :)
ETA: And I'm also getting ready to make a Mardi Gras King Cake.
