So I have no idea why, but back in April, my girlfriends and I thought it’d be a “fun idea” to do one of those mud obstacle courses. Now, I’m in good shape, but not for this! Anyway, now it’s this weekend and we really are regretting it!
But I’m no quitter. This is happening. My biggest question is how/where the hell do you clean off after? Do you get hosed down or something? We were planning on having our husbands meet us when we’re done and eat. Is that a feasible thing??
NOTE: this is NOT a Tough Mudder, it’s only a 5K. It’s literally called Your First Mud Run LMAO.

BurlapnLace: It all depends on the race. Some races offer changing stations while others offer hoses where people can wash off. I have heard of venues offering showers and some places offering absolutely nothing. In my opinion, I would bring a towel for the car (dont want to get mud everywhere), go home and shower and then go out to dinner.

BurlapnLace: you can check the race website. Some races offer really detailed websites that offer a host of information. Good luck and have fun!

BurlapnLace: I did my first mud run with some friends last year and it was a blast! This year we decided to up the competition, that who ever is the cleanest at the end has to buy the drinks after:) Most runs offer a shower/changing station, I recommend, just in case to prep your car before you go…I wrapped a garbage bags/blankets on the seats. I would just pack extra towels and maybe a gallon or two of water just to do a prerinse before getting in the car. Good luck, and most importantly, Have fun!
