Can anyone recommend a photographer in NYC or surrounding areas for about $2000 (willing to go up to $2500 if i have too)? We want someone with photojournalistic style that does great work but can fit in to our budget.
I used Patken photographer, based out of Lindenhurst. I got a photo/video package from them for about $3600 so you can probably get them just for photos for your price range. I loved my photos!!!
I don't know of anyone to add to the list, but don't forget to look around the NJ/Philly/Allentown/Lancaster areas. A lot of photogs around these areas are willing to travel to NYC for probably not much more $$$, but have lower rates to begin with because of the areas we're based in.
I'm not sure of her wedding packages, but Alison Conklin did a great job at my mom's wedding last month (I blogged about it here) and she is based in Allentown, PA. I would highly recommend her if she fits in your budget.
