I think the internet is the best place for a lot of women to inquire about ideas. My mom and sister are happy I am getting married... but they are not the sort of girl's that like to get deeply involved. They are interested in the dress and party. It'snice to be able to come online and have other brides tell me what they think and give me advice
IT funny , I met a newly engaged girl at work , the only websites i gave her were Etsy and Weddingbee! It's true that the support you can find online is sometimes better then what we find IRL! I think the advise is more real online because most of us will never see each other IRL and have no fear of telling someone what "they want to hear"!
I agree, I try to avoid the wedding talk with my unmarried friends, so having something like this is awesome!! I am not sure I would go as far as cutting my guestlist to be able to invite the bloggers though! Although you guys are great!! ha
I want most of the aspects of our wedding to be a surprise for our friends and family, so it is nice to have places online to share all the work we've put into it (ahead of time). Plus, I like the "pay it forward" aspect- I got idea from other people, now I'll pay that forward by sharing my ideas. Â
