NYC Brides(Brooklyn,Queens or Manhattan) I plan on tying the knot next May or June (2015) but am having a hard time finding a raw space venue for 100 guest under $5000(space only) or $125pp (catering and space). Can you help me?

I’m doing mine in Long Island. Most places there are 100 person minimum and start at around $110 pp + tax.

Did you try the Green Building in Brooklyn? Photos are gorgeous. NYMag says they are $6k for a weekend, so I bet you could get it cheaper on a weekday.

We are getting married at Attic Studios in Long Island City in Queens. I really love the space, and depending on the configuration of the studios you choose (they have five) it can be as affordable as you need it to be. We’re also using Bassett Catering from Brooklyn- their packages are very affordable and the food and customer service are amazing.
However, it is a raw space and so things really do add up once you start adding the rentals and decorations and all that. In hindsight I may have chosen to go with a catering hall that handles everything for me. But I’m still really excited at how it is all coming together 🙂
Hope this helps!

shopmarshag: I got married in Brooklyn. Our wedding was at Dyker Beach Golf Course. We paid $125pp but after taxes and gratuity it was really $150pp. We had 160 guests. This included full open bar, cocktail hour and 4 hour reception, cake was included, choice of linen, valet parking, whiteglove service, 3 course meal, Maitre’D and bridal attendant
Also keep in mind our wedding was on a Saturday night in the month of Sept. Friday and Sunday weddings are cheaper and so are Saturday afternoon weddings
