i am getting married in manhattan and my invites will say "New York City". sorry - i don't have anything to show you yet since mine are still at the printer. I don't think one is more formal than the other. i just liked how this looks over saying "New York, New York".

Just asking what most Manhattan brides used for wording a Manhattan location for church and/or reception location on wedding invites. I was ready to print mine using "New York, New York'' after my church in my formal wedding invitations, but the printer suggested I simply state "New York City" only. What's more formal?
If possible, can I see some sample invitations? Thanks.
