St. Paul the Apostle on W. 59th is beautiful.
I got married at Church of our Savior on 38th and park..it was amazing! It was $2K for the church though and then music was priced depending on what you want - I just wanted one organist to minimize costs so I paid $250..here are some pics!

Church of Our Savior is really pretty. So is Old St. Patrick's...we thought about doing our wedding there. I don't know about any construction -- haven't been there in a while. You might want to check out St. Vincent Ferrer -- we checked it out and it was pretty, just a bit too conservative for us.
If it makes you feel any better our church (St. Francis Xavier) asks for $2500 plus $500 for the music. We love the church though and they do a lot of charity work so we feel like hopefully our money will be going toward something good.

I'm currently investigating churches in NYC for my wedding ceremony. Originally, I wanted St. Ignatius on the UES because thats where FI and I went when we lived there and it is gorgeous, but they said their fee is $1500 for music, $2K for chuch, and $400 if you are late!!!
That's a lot of money. I also called down to the Old St. Patrick's (downtown, not the famous one) becuase I have attended there as well and it is very pretty on the inside. Their fee is much better.
Where do you catholic NYC bees get married? Does anyone know if the old st. pats is under construction now? I tried to look on their web site and they didnt have that many good pics.
