I highly recommend Sarah Lusardi of NY Engagements. Our wedding is not for 3 weeks, but so far she has been great. I think she is $1500 or so - she starts working with you 3 weeks before the wedding, even though it is called her "Day of" service.

They did a great job DOC'ing our wedding... I can't remember her price, but it seemed reasonable at the time...

We hired Melissa from Pampered Bride Weddings (as seen on Whose Wedding Is It Anyway). She is SUPER nice and organized...even though we only needed DOC services, she has always answered my random questions via email or phone quickly and thoroughly. I *think* they may be a bit more expensive than others, but it seemed worth it for us (esp for a bigger wedding, at which we'd have a 'team' of people with the DOC).
If you haven't decided yet, take a look at Tracey at Polka Dot Events. She's a total sweetheart and is always willing to go above and beyond. She lives in NYC but does do northern NJ.

We're using Lori from The Brides Dream Day. She's very affordable.
I was just thinking about DOCs that work weddings in Northern NJ. I have awhile to go before the wedding, but wanted to check out prices and services now to see if it can be fit inot the budget.
Try Dianne @ Colorblind Productions. She is unbelievably helpful and really takes over and lets you enjoy your day.

I am looking for a day-of-coordinator (or possibly someone to plan the whole shebang if the price is right) in NYC/northern NJ. My venue is in Jersey City. Can anyone recommend a good coordinator and also let me know what the price range in hiring such a person?
