We are both negotiators but I am a bit more hardnosed when it comes to it. I don't live in Brooklyn (Crooklyn!) for nothing

Simply STUNNING! I won't lie I'm terrible and FH is better off going without me. I get excited and giddy and he's giving me the calm down look because I've ruined his chances for negotiating :P

We FINALLY found wedding bands. Yes, we are getting married in three weeks and we just got our wedding bands. FFIL came with us cause he knows how to wheel and deal where I suck at haggling and we ended up paying 1/4 of the total sticker price for both rings. The experience itself was daunting though because those guys are crazy. They will literally grab you and try to drag you into their store and they yell across the street and argue with each other about who should get you as a customer and they are all about the hard sell, and I do not deal well with any of these things! If I didn't have FI and FFIL there to tell me to basically act like a mute with a paralyzed face and pretend I hate everything, we would have been screwed, but I found EXACTLY what I wanted, which is hard because my e-ring is hard to match. Here are some pics.
Moral of the story, if you are going to go to the Diamond District, bring someone who knows the drill - and always pay cash.
