counter sounds cool but it's all the way on the east side and hard for people to get to. what can i say - i'm a west side gal. :)
if you end up going some place on the west side, i will try to stop by.
I am definitely not set on Counter, so NYC people--- PLEASE make your suggestions.
(esp West Side spots, as that may up our chance of being able to drink a tost to Mrs. Bee in person!)

Sorry to start the ball rolling and then drop it---
In addition to problems with internet access, we had a death in the family and so my cousins are arriving from all over the globe for a funeral here tomorrow.
I will plan to drop by about 6:45 and have a quick cocktail before heading back uptown to meet the family.
Lovebird & Bee, I am sure I will recognize you. As for me, I am short with dirty "blonde" long hair and black glasses with green stripes on the side.

Hi all,
I will be in NYC next week and am hoping to organize a little meetup.
I have been in contact with some NYC-area bees and there is some interest. Mrs. Bee has given her blessing, though she may not be able to make it due to other commitments.
I was thinking Thursday evening (4/17). Mrs. Onion suggested Counter (http://www.counternyc.com/home.html). They even have a specialty martini called "Married In A Fever."
Of course, not being a native, I am open to any and all suggestions.
So, fellow readers, anyone else up for it?
