We have booked Julie Laudicina (www.julielaudicina.com). She charges $700 for a completely custom ceremony, as do most other officiants. If you want something by-the-book, it's usually about $400-450.

Are you looking for any particular denomination, or specifically non-denominational? We're using Rabbi Roger Ross, who's completely customizing a traditional Jewish ceremony to make it fit with what we want (no Hebrew, no mention of God). He's expensive though--$900.
Thanks! This is super helpful. I've talked to a few today and that seems consistent with those price ranges. I don't really want anything very custom.. just the simple bare bones ceremony.

HIlda Gieco is our officiant, and she runs at $450. She is a beautiful person to boot.

I really want to keep this under $500 and as long as it's not religious I really don't care if it's a judge, reverend or priest, etc. As long as they are willing to do a non religious ceremony, some customization. And a sense of humor would be great!

PS: It's nice, but absolutely not required to invite your officiant to the reception. They probably won't attend.
Hi! We are going with Rev. Jim Covington. Neither of us is really identifies with any religion particular, but he offers a non-denominational ceremony, which works well for us. He also officiated at my friend's wedding, and I believe Mrs. Butterfly's wedding as well. His rate when we contacted him was $425.

You can find amazing (and reviewed by peers) officiants here at the wedding bee or wedding wire through the vendors section. The prices can range from $300 to $750.
I would defintiely recommend you to contact a few of them and find which one can offer you the service that is as amazing and unique as you are for a price you can afford.
