I’m getting married in a park in NYC, which is subject to NYC parks and recreation regulations. This means no rice (it kills pigeons- not the worst thing in my opinion, but I understand why they don’t want us to use it) and no bubbles (weirdly enough). Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to toss after the ceremony or reception? I guess I don’t really need to toss anything, but it seems kind of anti-climactic I guess…

I like sparklers but those are probably a no no as well…

oooh yeah me too! But they said no open flames. Still, it’d only be for a minute, not like we’re leaving candles in the park!

Flower petals? Bird seed? I like the ribbon wands, too, and they certainly can’t complain about that since it doesn’t leave anything behind.
