@cmoest:  I’ll play! Here’s my huge, poofy ballgown and her ridiculously long, full train…

Below: train is bustled, but the middle loop came undone.

It’s wider than my immediate family lined up…

I actually plan on cutting my train down quite a bit because I’m having an outdoor wedding on grass. Here’s me in the sample with the full train though.

Haha I love the title of this thread! This is the dress without anything underneath and before alterations. I love the train!!!

@cmoest:  I’m probably going to cut it down to a sweep train and fogo the bustle as we’re not have a dancing reception. I’m also not wearing a veil because I’ve seen Bees post about it being windy and their veils ripping their hairdos out. I’m taking the flower off the sash of my dress and wearing that in my hair instead. If you’re thinking about an outside ceremony/reception as well you should pay attention to your skirt material. You want something that will glide over the ground like silk or organza, not something that will catch and pick up twigs and grass ect like tulle.

My train isn’t that long, but I love it!

I’m 5’2″ on a good day, so the train in my dress is much longer than the designer intended– and I love it!

Not the best picture, but you get the idea 🙂
