Ok, here’s my latest centerpiece idea and I need some opinions:
(Background info: Colors, pink, tiffany blue, and white. Tiffany blue tablecloths, pink chair bows, white napkins.)
3 bud vases, 6" 7" 8" tall of various shapes, with 3-4 pink and white Gerbera’s, roses, and carnations (1 type of flower in each vase). Around each bud vase pink and or blue ribbons will be tied. They’ll be sitting on a mirror surrounded by tiffany blue votive candles.
How does that sound?
I attached one of my inspiration photos.
The only problem is that one of my earlier ideas included glowing centerpieces (the water was glowing pink) and future hubby LOVES the idea and I cant make these glow.
I’ve also attached the other idea I had that WOULD glow.
Please help me decide!!

I’m not sure which idea this picture is of? Please attach a couple of pics if you can labeled which idea you want us to vote on. Thanks!

wow, I guess one of them didn’t load, and it won’t let me upload it either..so that picture is of the bud vases.
The other one is an hourglass shaped vase with about 2 inches of pink rose buds floating at the top and nothing but glowing pink water for the rest of it. sorry I couldn’t upload the pic.

*lol* That’s one of my centerpiece inspiration pictures too, so I have to vote on #one with buds!
Have you tried it in practice yet, with all of the components, to see how you like it?

I think those centerpieces sound great! Did the water really “glow” or was it the lighting of the reception hall from your inspiration photo? I honestly think they sound perfect w/o the glow, so I think it comes down to what’s your personal fave and what can you personally create.

i love the buds! it’s very simple & beautiful. i think glowing would be too showy.
