MSNBC just called it. . . four more years of Obama!
I, for one, am extremely happy right now!!!
oh good!
ETA: Are all the votes even in?? Is this a for sure result?
@madteaparty: I think it's funny that your name is madteaparty and you are an Obama supporter. I'm a dork.
Also, YAYYYY!!
I'm from NZ. Just saw this on the news here!!!! Fantastic news guys! Congrats!!!
@Nurse_Bee: ahahaha. I get it. It's "madteaparty" for Alice in Wonderland! LMAO
As a Kiwi planning to move to the USA for a few years, I am so relieved.
@PrincessConsuelaBananaHammock:
@the_future_mrs: happy to hear that you guys are happy about this from different countries! Thanks!!!
I thought it was too early to tell? o.O I want to believe though!!
Literally makes me sick.
My family has suffered SO MUCH under Obama's hand. I can't even fathom where we will be in 4 more years.
@MabelleBliss: He has the electoral votes and that's all that matters. All polls are closed at this point and based on exit polls and early results, they have enough to call it. Currently Obama is at 274 Romney 203. With the few states left, it doesn't even matter. Obama got Ohio and that did him in.
I am SO overjoyed.
I am so relieved that I will be bringing my child into a world that is moving towards respecting people more, not less, and to providing a bright future to as many as possible, not just those lucky enough to be born into wealth or the select few who do acheive the American dream despite all the obstacles we keep throwing in their face.
@Ms.Pink: The economy is projected to recover regardless of who is president. So, if you think your economic woes are due to Obama, hopefully that will turn around for you!
If you're talking about something else, maybe you could share and we can help you through it?
OMG! I burst into tears!! So So HAPPY right now! TEAM OBAMA!!!
@Ms.Pink: I'd love to learn of what you have suffered that was not due to Bush or Republican obstructionism.
If your concerns are economic, take solace in the fact that (1) that's Bush's fault and the Republicans blocked full implamentation of the stimulus that might have fixed it and (2) that economists project the economy to recover no matter who is president and that Romney's projected job creation numbers are the exact same as the numbers that economists project regardless of president.
@peachacid: I typed out my whole explanation, and then realized my parents would kill me if I put all of their personal info on the internet! Especially with one of them being in politics, haha. I appreciate you trying to help, though.
@Ms.Pink: I am with you. I have suffered as well. So has the company my FI works for. I guess we will start hiding our money and prepare for the next four years.
Tammy Baldwin - the first openly gay person ever elected into the U.S. Senate!!! Progress! Forward!!!
@mrsSonthebeach: This is one of the things I like most about the 'bee. How respectful the people are, even when they disagree.
