It might be too early to ask, but has anyone requested a wedding greeting from the Obama White House yet? I can't seem to find a link on the new White House website (www.whitehouse.gov).

    Any insight is greatly appreciated!

It looks like the new Obama website doesn't have the same page on it:

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/greeting

But I bet the snail mail invites still work!

I did!  And we received it awhile back.  You have to mail them one of your invites.

We sent our invitation in and, although it took some time, we did eventually receive a response back!

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to share that we got our greeting back already! Before the wedding! I sent the invitation in mid- or late June I think. It was so neat to see that in our mailbox, and our names in perfect script on the envelope.

Ours arrived very quickly, we sent it about a month before the wedding and it came in about 3 weeks (maybe even less). It was very cool!

I had absolutely no idea that people even received these! I didn't sign up for anything, didn't send in an invite at all, but somehow they caught wind that we got married. I received about a month after our wedding a congratulations from the Obamas in the mail, we were so pumped lol We put it on our fridge!

Silly question.... but do you just send and invite?  Do you send something that states where you want the certificate mailed to, or do they just mail it to the return address?  Thanks!
