so i finally picked my wedding party color. im going with the main colors as a cool, tropical color. I dont know the EXACT name of this color i choose. I think its coral but for somer reason Coral comes in like a million different shades from an orange color, peach color, even a pink color. But i know for sure that this is the exact ‘SHADE’ of coral i would like. (If anyone knows exactly what the true name of the color I chose and it isnt coral at all please let me know lol)
Anyway, Now i am off to choosing the main flowers and boutonniere for the wedding party and i have narrowed it down to my 4 favorite. Let me know which group of flowers you think would compliment the wedding color best.
(a little backround information of my wedding location. we are having a destination wedding on a cruise ship to the bahamas. These flowers are also silk or real touch flowers since real flowers aren’t allowed on cruise ships and even if they were they would probably be dead by the time the wedding started.)

I really like shades of orange and pink with green so I voted for 2.
I think 4 would be a bit matchy, though I love that aqua color as well.
1 is a lot going on. And if you really want to emphasize the brightness, that’s the way to go.
I’d call that color coral as well. It’s so hard to find the names of specific shades that aren’t used a lot. Maybe try to find a company that uses the shade you want in their logo and you can use that as a reference point. I had the same problem with my tiffany blue/aqua color.

Thanks a lot for you input. it definitely helps!
I think if i was to use group 2 that i would change the fuschia with a pinky or orange color like you mentioned.

I’d call that color “Salmon”… Very nice color scheme!

I voted for 2 but also think 3 would be a great choice! They both have the contrast that would make the flowers ‘pop’ against your coral color

thank you 🙂 im just inlove with the colors im really happy with them. I just know that as hard as it was for me to find a match online its going to be a challenge to find the real thing lol.

It’s hard when a color name means different things to different people.
I would also call it salmon, but to make things clear when making other decisions,I would take a matching paint chip. That eliminates the guesswork.

I really like the flowers in #1, but I think #3 will look best with the rest of the color scheme.

hmm seems like a close race. i guess which ever one can’t be that wrong.

I really like the green shades in number two, I think it accents the coral really well. I think number three has more of the tropical feel though.

I love #3 – the white makes the coral pop!
