WOW... There has always been a LA meet up and an SD meet up. I'd be down for an OC meet up. I am in Aliso Viejo.
I live in Fullerton right by CSUF. Would you guys want to do lunch one weekend? Maybe we can find more brides on the boards who also live in OC who are interested.
I'm a newbie, but I'd love to meet some fellow WB brides! I'm in the Mission Viejo area.
Unfortunately I have plans every weekend in August, but I'd be up to meet in Sept?
If you guys want to meet up sooner, feel free to plan without me.
If we think up a good weekend and central location I can post it on the blog so more people see it :)
Sept sounds good to me. I hope that my schedule will work out (I work rotating wkends).

Okay then lets plan for September. I've never gone to a meet up before so what are some ideas of what we can do? Also if everyone will post something that is fun to do in their city or nearby city then we can decide where to meet up that way. In Fullerton we have "Downtown Fullerton" that has tons of bars/resturants. So there are nice resturants or wine tasting. Plus tons of shopping in the area! Or there is also Old Towne Orange that has cute quaint little antique shops and shopping/restuants too. Any ideas are very welcome!
I'm not too familiar with Downtown Fullerton or Old town Orange... but both sound good to me.
I love wine tasting but I don't think I could drive back afterwards :)
We could do wine tasting then dinner or shopping. That way everyone would be safe to drive home.

Any weekend except the 18th works for me. My birthday is September 18th so I'm sure I'll be pretty busy that day :)
I would be up for hanging out too! Although, I am already married. I love bee meet-ups! What about September 11th or 25th? A quite place is nice. Last time we met it was too loud and we had to yell to be heard. I think a quieter place would allow for better conversations. Also, a big area that could host about 10-15 girls. Last time we were a little cramped too.
There is this really cute wine tasting place in Brea that is pretty reasonable for price and its adorable and quiet. There is also an old navy across the street and a few clothing stores, bath and body works and a movie theater within walking distance. Does that sound good to anyone? I'd need a for sure guest count before calling them
I've never been to a meet up before though. What do we do during the meet up?
oops, totally forgot, the location also offers beer tastings if any bees like beer more than wine. and there is also a starbucks within walking distance too. the wine tasting is 6 wines for $15 and the times I've gone they usually give an extra glass for free.
Only date I can't do in Sep is the 25th - I'll be at a wedding that day :) However if it works for everyone else you ladies just go ahead and I'll make the next one.
I say we should plan for the 11th. There's a 50/50 chance I'll be in Ensanada that weekend, but if we don't go I'll definitely be there. I'll be in Phoenix the weekend of the 25th. Anyone else having a crazy-busy Summer??!
Oh, I think I'm open on the 11th.
There's also downtown Huntington Beach, which has some cool places-- Dukes, Chimaya, Rubies on the pier? :)

MEET-UP: SEPTEMBER 18!!!!!!!
We typically always plan our meet-ups in the OC but this time we are moving our way to the Inland Empire to the ever popular wedding venue... the Mission Inn!
If you've never done a meetup, now is the time... they are so fun! Mrs. Frenchie and Mrs. Poodle as well as myself will forsure be in attendance... hope you'll join us!

Birthday - Having a Mickey/Minnie Wedding, sooooooooo excited.
A great place to meet is MIMI'S they have wines and a banquet room
for free can hold about 30/40 - and as long as everyone orders something
they welcome the biz. I just attended my 1st meet up group 4 weeks ago and
LOVE IT!
It is for people who love doing craft shows, at that meeting we all bring
our products to share and MIMI's even allows us to sell them within our group,
its awesome.
