Everything is booked now! Eeek! It’s just all the meetings finalising everything, and we do still have to do the Registry Office palaver…

We picked up our rings at the weekend, very exciting!

dewingedpixie:  That’s great! Right now to have everything paid up by October, we’d have to apply a little over $900 a month.. we are putting around $2000 a month into the wedding, so we will have it paid off much sooner.

October 3rd here — so I am EXACTLY 4 months out as of today 🙂 eeek!!

I am honestly feeling pretty good about things. This Saturday FI and I are doing our cake tasting & getting all that squared away, we are also going to pick out his & the groomsman tuxes and our wedding bands! After that is done here’s what I have left:

-Buy last of my decor: clear votive holders and pillar candles, pumpkins (as they become in-season), spray paint gold my “mr & mrs” letters

-Purchase favor boxes, ribbons & Hershey kisses and assemble all the favors (kinda dreading this task!)

– Book hair & makeup (finally picked a salon… just have to put down deposit)

– Decide on & purchase veil, headpiece and day-of jewelry

– Finalize & order invitations (already have the design picked, planning to complete this in July to be ready to mail out in August)

– Finish purchasing & put together attendant gifts

And that’s seriously about all I have left besides paying off the other vendors 🙂 There are a few other items such as rehearsal dinner plans, ordering menus and applying for marriage license but those have to wait till we get a little closer. If I get super ambitious I make take on a DIY-photo booth. Still debating that one…

October 17 here… and I feel like I have so much to do!

I did get my veil last Saturday, and we took engagement photos on Sunday – so those things were crossed off the list. I am super excited to get the pics back, as the sneak peak one we got was adroable.

By the end of June, my goal is to get the following done:

  • Register for gifts, or at least get the majority of the registry done
  • Finalize guest list (mainly his side)
  • Decide on flowers (DIY or real)
  • Decide on cake/cupcakes (bakery, mainly)
  • Find and order his wedding band (I have mine already)
  • Start looking at suit/tie colors
  • Start the search for my shoes and jewelry/acessories
  • Continue working on cocktail hour/dinner reception music
  • Start gathering pictures for slideshow
  • Start thinking of gifts for bridal party/parents

I also have some DIY stuff I’d like to start, but will hopefully be getting supplies for that stuff in the next couple of weeks – and then hoping they look  like I have envisioned. It’s mainly for the head table, a thank you sign, and then something to book near the guest book (photo book with engagement pics).

October 12th!!  I feel like I have a lot to do still but that’s probably not true. Invites will go out in August and the whole thing is fairly low key.

Oct 18th here! Have so much left to do but most of it is all details.

We have our venue and food paid off as well as linens. Have deposit in for photographer, photobooth and cake.

Goals to have done by the end of June:

Order and deposit on bridal & BM brooch bouquets

Have BM order dress

Order invites

Finalize guest list (had some opening come up after stending std)

find makeup artist

 plan rehearsal dinner

get hotel room blocks

venue walk thur

Then later this summer we will need to finalize centerpiece decor stuff, buy all the candles And any other decor we need. Order place card holders, choose music for everything, having hair trial in July, get bridal accessories & dress fitted when it comes, choose and buy gifts for everyone.

Ugh I’m exhausted writing all that lol. But we will have everything besides alcohol paid before the wedding and close the tab the night of so that’s exciting!

On the 10th here!

Done list:

  • Venue booked
  • Resort stay booked
  • Flights booked
  • Photographer booked
  • His band
  • My band
  • Dress
  • Something blue
  • Earrings
  • Shoes
  • Decided on walk and ceremony songs

To do:

  • Remaining balance of resort stay
  • Remaining balance on photographer
  • Belt (possibly) and veil
  • Alterations
  • Finalize/pay for bouquet/bout
  • Decide on decorations for ceremony arch
  • Finalize hair/makeup
  • Groom’s tie
  • Make a game plan for excursions during our stay
  • Write vows
  • Legal paperwork
  • Book restaurant for home reception
  • Invites for home reception

Sadly looking at my “done” list, it doesn’t feel like I have as much accomplished compared to what my budget tracker says I have paid! Even with a small destination wedding, this stuff all adds up ridiculously quickly.

12th October bride!

I must admit, I don’t have THAT much left to do:

• Post invitations

• Makeup trial with MOH

• Dress fittings for me & BMs

• Order shoes for 3 of my BMs

• DIY card box & table plan (I have all the supplies)

And that’s it! Everything else is done: cars, venue, food, flowers, GM suits, BM dresses, cake, photographer, flowers, venue decor, my accessories, thank you gifts, honeymoon, hair, made invitations, rings, officiant, music for ceremony & dancing
