Oct 2010 Brides! What are your colors? Looking for inspiration :) Thanks ladies!
Black and Black and white damask with accents of red :)
We're doing a peacock theme - bright, bold colors, but thought they would still look "seasonal" enough for late October!
Our florist described it PERFECTLY in an email she recently sent us...
"Rustic, elegant, natural, organic…country farm & field flower themes reflected in the casual style arrangements and decor. sophisticated and classic fall colors including burnt orange, rust reds, wheat browns, and greens."
We're doing jewel tones, so a really rich purple for my bridesmaid dresses, a deep green and bronze.
I haven't really put much thought into colors yet, but I'm thinking silver and blue would work quite nicely for our aquarium wedding.
We're doing shades of brown with gold and ivory and champagne accents.
We are doing a chocolate brown with white and some orange accents. Going for a very modern and crisp look.
I too am going with brown and ivory with a touch of orange in the flowers
Dark teal blue with either orange or a peachy pink as an accent color.
We originally picked out colors when we decided on a Winter wedding with blues and purples. It was then that he asked me to not have any pick in anything, not even bouquets :( So, I took his wants into consideration and we agreed upon a shade of blue and chocolate brown. When I thought about brown tuxedos, I changed my mind. Why/ I don't know. I LOVE the deep briwn tuxedos! I guess my traditional part of my brain took over! lol Anyway, we changed our December date to October 9th which is our 'Anniversary' and we stayed with out color choice. Our colors are Black, Aqua, and iridescent. No pink, that's fine. But, he NEVEER said I could not have iridescent!!!! But, of course I talked to him about it and he said it was ok!)
I'm technically not October, but I'm the last weekend of September, so I thought I'd share--I'm doing dark cranberry red, a jewel-toned purple, chocolate brown, and gold.
Theme = Simple Elegance
Colors = Gold Amethyst and Ivory
I am going with brown also. I keep switching between pink and orange accents...
No brown for me! I'm going for shades of green and white, with the occasional bright accent of orange or pink in the flowers and other details.
I'm doing lemon yellow and sort of a royal-ish blue. Not exactly fall colors but I don't care. We don't really have a fall in Texas anyways.
We're doing a casual elegant theme with rich reds, golds and a navy blue accent. It fits in with our reception location perfectly! Here's the inspiration board that started me on this color scheme.
Chocolate Brown is so popular! I'm doing it too...it's one of my favvve colors. But my BM's will be in Red, Orange, and Chocolate Brown. Accent colors (flowers, clutches) will be yellow. So I've got the full fall spectrum working for me! here's my current board...more of the pieces of my wedding coming together than "inspiration" but it works!

well i am technically the last week of sept but i figured i would share.... we are doing a vintagy wedding with champagne, light pinks ivory and brown.
My colors are deep red, brown and accents of champagne
im doing eggplant with ivory, lavander, silver and red (reddish pink-not sure how to describe it). it took me forever to finally figure out the accent colors.
I'm going against the grain a little bit by choosing colors that dont necessarily go along with a "fall" wedding. We're doing mainly black and white, with lavendar and silver accents... but the color lavendar has a special meaning in our relationship and its my wedding, so I'm doing what I want regardless of the time of year I'm getting married! :)
Hi all.
I'm between deep red/burgundy with plum and peacock.
We are doing a deep rich purple with sage green and gold accents. I know the sage sounds weird and it was originally just the purple and gold but the dress I feel in love with and bought has sage in it. Oddly enough it all really goes together.
@101610bride - those colors sounds great together, very chic!!
We are doing a blush/rose color, green and bronze
holy super big picture batman, i should look into resizing
We're doing Navy, Champagne and Copper. My coordinator recommended the copper accents I really love the way it looks together! :)
We're doing black and white with red and aqua and lots of polka dots!

Chocolate Brown, burgundy and some burnt orange!!
Rustic Elegant- we are doing it in a club on a ski mountain in VT!
Lanterns, candles, red dahlias, orange ranocculous....
Awesome
We're doing a sort of vintage elegant woodland. Not fall colors but more the lovely romantic feeling that comes with crispness. (Mrs. Cowboy Boot's wedding is the reason I wanted a fall wedding)
So far our colors are a variety of purple (dark purple for BMs and amnesia roses) and gold with some olive green accents.
It kind of sounds weird and ugly in writing...
I'm hoping to have cobalt blue dresses accented with orange and yellow flowers :)
I'm thinking yellow for sure, but not sure yet about the other colors. Our location has lots of trees and plants, it's very lush and green.
Aubergine (BM dresses) rustice deep bright orange, and pops of magenta! Fall-like still bright to incorporate my goofiness and a tiny bit of girly.....I am having the orangeish purplish calla lilies (my fav).
Cobalt blue with burnt orange and pumpkin!
Trying to find inspiration for my bouquet as we speak...
We were inspired by this really amazing vintage handkerchief I found...
