@Ms. Meowerson: I am embarrassed to ask this, but here it goes - what do you mean by, whats my breakdown? 88 is the total head count. Of that number 12 are our wedding party and that does not include me and/or FH. So the current number is really 76! Is that what you mean?
EDIT - - 88 are all YES ACCEPT WITH GREAT PLEASURE, haahaahaa is that what you meant? OY, I am losing it
EDIT EDIT - - just reviewd spread sheet and 28 are the NO, DECLINE WITH REGRET.
I've gotten 78 yes responses
1 decline
and am missing 59 responses so far. Cut off is next Friday
@sironel: 1 decline, that is super fantastic!!! I have a question, what are you gonna do with guests that don't send their RSVP's back by Friday? FH asked me last night what we're gonna do and I hadn't thought about it....Ideas!?!?!?
cut off is sept 30th, and so far we have:
yes: 73
no: 21
still waiting for response from: 70!
people need to get on it!
i really wish for 100, but i know were more likely to have 120-130. fingers crossed that the late responses mean they are afraid to tell us they can't make it. :)
@JennHasFeet: HAHAHHAHHAHAHAH iced tea just came out my mouth bc of
"fingers crossed that the late responses mean they are afraid to tell us they can't make it. :)"
I totally wish for that, I haven't wanted to admit it incase it somehow bites me in the arse
@jackie-o: I broke out the missing rsvps and divded them between my guests, FI's guests and our moms' guests. The ones that we think would be coming (aunts/uncles) will get phone calls clarifying whether or not they are coming, and then the ones we were unsure of to begin with (friends on the fringe or firends from a long time ago, we will just assume they aren't coming)
both fi and my mom want to have extra tables for the people who come that didn't rsvp and I just think that's not right
Our RSVPs are due by 10/15 for our 11/5 wedding. We are also considered a destination wedding (only a handful of people are local, and lots of people invited from across the world...FI is Australian) We invited 173 people. I anticipate having about 75 guests at the wedding.
So far we have 34 YES responses and 18 NO responses.
@sironel: i totally agree! i dont want an extra table either for the ones who don't respond. i think it's bogus.
@jackie-o: oh shoot, i probably just cursed myself. :)
@sironel: I have to agree with you on this one, I don't think thats right either
@nbblondie: We have 3 guests coming from AUS and one coming from Seoul, I totally thought their responses were gonna fall into the NO column, lol I am sure you two will also get surprised by some far away attentees falling into the YES column
Here's our breakdown so far:
Yes - 146
No - 27
So, out of 217 invited we still need to hear back from 44 people. Our RSVP deadline is next Friday and I'm starting to realize we will likely have to make some calls after the deadline to confirm numbers - so frustrating when people have had six weeks to respond!
I'm guessing we will end up around 165-175, which would be ideal.
We have 78 yes, we wouldn't miss it for the world
and 8 no's, will be there in spirit
We were hoping for 80 people so it's definitely looking like we will be around there.
Our deadline was yesterday so I'm hoping to track down the last 10.
@Jackie-O: I've emailed and texted the last few stragglers to see if they will/will not be attending. It's kind of annoying but, I don't want people I didn't account for to show up at the wedding when there isn't a seat/table for them.
@Ms iPhone: got it - - this isn't to you personally just in general...I'm gonna feel awkward contacting the folks who didn't return their RSVP
We invited 250, we've received about 150 'yes', 12 'no' and the rest are still MIA and our deadline is Oct 6. I have a feeling we'll be tracking down quite a few people...
We have gotten a LOT of verbals, but our actual cards are:
139 - Invited
38 - Yes
8 - No
With our verbals, we have a few people still riding the 'can't bring kids' fence, so we expect they may not attend. Our deadline is next Saturday - and we will begin making our phone calls Sunday morning. I need a headcount!
Numbers are in...for the most part. Due date was today...i started tracking them down yesterday. :)
invited: 171
yes: 114
no: 52
still waiting on: 4 (guessing they'll be no's)
woo hoo! i came pretty close to that 100 people mark!

Receiving RSVP's has been so much fun! They definitely come in waves thats for sure!! Our wedding falls under 'Destination' bc 95% of the guests are coming from out of state. Our total invited head count is 183 and at the moment our total RSVP head counts is 88 (thats including the wedding party.) We want our wedding to be 100-120 and I think we're going to fall with in that range maybe even short, YAY. Our RSVP cut off date is 10/8.
How are all of your RSVP counts? Are they were you want them to be or are you having stresses?
