Anyone out there with a near-Halloween wedding? I’m so excited to celebrate so close to my favorite holiday, and I’m hoping to incorporate some spooky/fun items into the decor!
Who else is out there with this date?

Not me, but that’s my bday! 🙂 Happy planning!!

It’s actually funny, because my dad and I always talked about using “The Monster Mash” as our father/daughter song. I never planned on a Halloween-centric date, but now that we have ours I’m having trouble deciding if we should go with Halloween stuff or steer away from it.

I’m a 10/29/11 bride and super excited about it! We might do some masks or something to celebrate Halloween, but we haven’t decided yet. We picked the date because our 7 year anniversary is on Halloween of 2011.

@cynthia418: Get your venue first. Everything revolves around that space (all the planning, the details, etc.). So pick out where you want the ceremony and where you want the reception. The other details will start to fall into place once you get those done.

October 29, 2011 here as well!! Unfortunately most of my family is Jehovah’s Witness so I can’t incorporate anything Halloween without risking them not coming – but I love love love that time of year!

I may do a Halloween-themed rehersal dinner, but I won’t be incorporating any elements into the wedding day itself. October in San Francisco is more like Summer than fall, but I’m using Burgundy anyway. 🙂

Yay! I’m having a Oct. 29th wedding as well. I think it will be super fun, I love October. I wanted to do a masquerade as well, but my fiance nixed the idea because he didn’t want all of our photos to be of guests in masks. But there shall be lots of orange on my wedding day. I think I’m going for a modern vintage orange theme.
