I like both of them, however I like the 2nd one better.  I feel like the other one would get caught on things really easy and may become more irritating than it is worth.  Also, consider how hard it would be to find a wedding band that fits with it, unless you can buy it as a set.

I actually really love the octagon halo. I’ve never seen one before, and I think it’s really unique and beautiful!

I love the octagon halo!  I know there’s a bee that has one, and it’s beautiful!

I voted # 2 just because I feel it’s more timeless. But if you are going for different I would do #1. They both are gorgeous in their own right!

Get the octagon! I think it’s amazing! You could probably get a wedding band that slips underneath the halo, just like it would for a round halo.

I like the round halo better!  Just my preference, but I find the edges of the octagon a little masculine or maybe just too modern.

I am a bit biased as there are few halos I like, but I really like that octagon one!

It just seems a bit more unique and cleaner.

This one is a bit more antiquey, but gorgeous and Pearlman’s is great to deal with!:

More of a clipped corner square than a octagon, but still cool!:

Oh, here are a few more suggestions and some pics!:
