How do I feel you ask? Like this:

But honestly, I think we’re ok. Just need to print up all the paper stuff like programs, signage, etc… Otherwise, just need to pack up the car and get this damn thing started!

Good luck this week fellow bride-to-bee’s!!!! 🙂

Uhhh…frazzled.

I just had to have that special iridescent paper for our programs…but to get the ink to look right on it, I have to use my photo printer and set it to the highest quality printing. I have literally been printing the programs since Saturday night. It’s ridiculous.

After that, I just need to fill in the seating cards, pack up the decor, print off 8 million lists and photos and whatnot, and finish sanding and spraypainting our table numbers. And pack and clean and do ridiculous amounts of laundry. Then I will be homefree.

For some details, I just have no more fu**s to give. I don’t care anymore that everything is gold, but I can only find a silver cake stand. I don’t care that we never got around to a cake topper. I don’t care that our guest book is not unique. It’s quite liberating just saying “screw it” to some of these things.

It feels totally surreal.  I can’t believe that I’m getting married in five days.

I have a cold!!

I’m working through Wednesday and it’s a super busy time of the year for my company. Oh, and my father-in-law is coming to stay with us starting Tues night because he is in town for work before the wedding.

Ack!

My original countdown clock started at 434 days…now it’s five — it’s so surreal.

On the plus-side, the restaurant where my rehearsal dinner is at finally called this morning to confirm the menu.  That was a little stressful as I was playing one-sided phone tag with the catering manager for the last three weeks.

Everything that’s going to be done is done…we are packing up the cars to take everything to the venue tomorrow.  Wednesday is hair trial and I pick up my freshly steamed dress.  Thursday I have my mom and sister coming over to make sweets for the dessert table, and the flowers are being delivered so we can start making bouquets…then it’s Friday and my girls are all in town for mani/pedis, then venue set-up, then rehearsal dinner.

I’m ready to be done with work tomorrow afternoon, so I can truly get wedding week kicked-off!

My stomach is constantly in knots due to a combination of stress and excitement. Can’t believe it’s here already! We finished up the escort cards this weekend, which I thought was my last big project… until I remembered the Mad Libs.

See, instead of doing a guestbook I decided long ago that I wanted to do Mad Libs. Fine. I made them myself from scratch and after spending an entire day farting around with free fonts and clip art, I finally got them to print out two per page on some cardstock. I printed them out, trimmed them down, and breathed a sigh of relief. And then I realized that they need some kind of envelope so the guests can fill out the adjectives, nouns, etc. without seeing the text of the Mad Lib.

And, of course, do my homemade Mad Libs fit into any old A7 envelope? Nope. They are just slightly too long. So instead of redoing ALL of them (which I’m pretty sure would end with me ripping my hair out and/or breaking my laptop across my knee and/or attacking anything and everything in sight with my paper cutter), I am going to calmly stop at Staples on my way home tonight and peruse the envelopes section. If nothing fits, nothing fits and that’s it!

@inexplicablecomfort:  “I have a cold!!”

Me, too! I’ve been hacking and sneezing at the office since last week, and everyone who knows I’m getting married this weekend has been giving me worried looks and asking if I’m worried I won’t be better by Saturday. I think maybe stress killed my immune system.

Uh… I’m still not registering that I’ll be married in 5 days and on a cruise in 6.  Hahaha.

@JennyPPB:  It’s been helping.  I noticed end of last week he was waking up really stuffy and would sound congested throughout day.  This weather doesn’t help either.

@anemonie:  I know it’s due to stress! I had to work a late event this past weekend, the weekend prior was my bachelorette party and now all of a sudden it’s wedding week/weekend. No wonder I’m run down! I’m drinking loads of water (peeing every hour but ah well) and taking lots of vitamins. Here’s hoping it goes away for both of us!
