We're 10-23-10...13 months from TODAY! I'm so ready to get there...we've been engaged 4 months and are nearly done planning!
Not in the DC area (FL) but I *am* a fellow 10.10.10 bride!
Would love to have done the 10.10.10 thing, but we're having a Catholic ceremony in the church and they only do weddings on Saturdays, so we're getting married on October 9, 2010. That also happens to be the day after my bday :-)
Do you need help finding vendors?
I'm October 16, 2010, but originally it was going to be 10/23/10 but the marine corps marathon is that weekend and our church and reception are in downtown DC and we have an almost all out of town guest wedding!
VADC - you had me in full panic! I just called - the MCM is October 31, 2010. WHEW! (All of my stuff is downtown too!)
I so wanted to have my wedding on 10/30/10, the 1 year anniversary of our engagement, but ffil is running in the MCM, so we had to push it back to 11/6!
10/10/10 here!! Got engaged December 9, 2009 in Sydney, Australia, from Maryland but having ceremony in Virginia :)
Oooomg I'm sorry aplusb!! Our priest had told us it was usually that weekend when we booked our church back in April of last year. Bummer, I had totally wanted the 23rd too! Well I'm super happy that it's the 31st!!! Sorry for scaring you!
Attention all october 8, 9 and 10 brides. I just found out that the Susan G Komen race will take place on that weekend. Last year it was during the first weekend in June and it was quite busy downtown. I'm trying to see if I can get a map of the course so we can plan accordingly. If anyone is interested in a copy, let me know.

I can't believe it's seven months until October! On the one hand, I can't wait, but on the other hand I'm starting to feel that I need more time to get everything done!
10-16! wedding will be in boston, but we live in silver spring. the months are flying by... i know we still have 7 months to go, but it feels so soon!
