I ordered my dress this month after 1 day of shopping. I love it. That is about all I have done though, aside from the ceremony/reception venue and the photog. What all have you done so far Limeade??
Yay October 2010 :)
There's been a Sept 2010 board for a while (it didn't appear on July 1 or anything). Perhaps we could talk to the powers the bee (heheh, I make myself giggle) to get an October 2010 board out there?
Do you have pictures of the dress? I've booked my venue, ceremony musician, photographer, florist and caterer. I've also got the BM dresses ordered. Whew! But, I like planning so far in ahead because I have time to really find the stuff I love.
@Gilneas: That little quip made me laugh! Hopefully we'll get a board soon! We are growing in number!

For those of you October brides who are attempting to nail down your ceremony/reception times, I Googled the weather for my day, so I could see what time the sun set! I also looked in the farmer's almanac to see past weather on my day in case I should start preparing now for the definite possibility of inclement weather.
Our date is 10-10-10! I'm so excited, we went on Monday and secured our ceremony spot. Today I rented chairs, and spoke to the Package store who will be doing our alcohol/ beverage service. We have a beautiful venue, an old victorian hotel ballroom, check it out- http://www.crockerhouse.net/grandballroom.asp. It has an amazing back patio/ courtyard that we can use for cocktail hour! I think it will be the perfect place to celebrate out first night as husband and Wife! yay!!!!
Another day... still no month twin board. :( Just wondering, why did you guys choose your wedding date? Why October? Why that day? We chose October because I wanted a fall wedding outdoors and it's too cold for me anytime after. September is my birthday month and I'm a brat, so I didn't want to share. So that left October.
We picked Columbus Day weekend, so that we could get all of our friends to the beach. :) The kids are out of school on Monday, so it works best for us.
We picked Oct. because I just love everything about the fall, the leaves, the weather(as long as it doesnt rain) and the colors. My sister's anniversary is Oct.4 so we didnt want it too close to hers and I didn't want Halloween. So, October 23, 2010 just looked good to me. I just hope there are lots of beautiful leaves ready for great pics! 
We chose the date last year - I picked a gimmicky date in hopes to get the fiance (then the boyfriend) interested (later, I found out his lack of wedding interest had nothing to do with the getting married part and more to do with some family issues). 10/10/10 was far enough away in early 2008 to plan a fabulous wedding but not rush into anything - plus it was a Sunday (which I liked) in October (when I always wanted to get married). Bonus - the fiance is a computer geek, and 101010 in binary is 42, which, according to Douglas Adams, is the Answer to the Ultimate Question.
Still no board... I'm just going to continually bump this post up until they become so annoyed with us that they HAVE to give us a board!
Yay October 2010! I hope we get a board soon! We picked our date because we both wanted a fall wedding and it's just so beautiful in October. 10.30.2010 was actually my last choice in date, but the reception venue we both LOVED only had one date left in Oct by the time we decided for sure we wanted to put a deposit down. I'm starting to warm up to it now... as long as it's not a haunted wedding!!
October 2010 isn't a real month, no one's getting married then! No board for us... I posted it on the idea section, go and vote for it! http://ideas.weddingbee.com/topic/adding-more-month-boards
So - I've been wedding planning for awhile (like - almost a year), and I'm getting to the point where I think I need to take a break so I don't burn out before next year! Has anyone else discovered this, especially with so much time before the wedding left?
Still no board? I'm starting to think we won't get one until Septembet 2010. :(
I love me some Weddingbee, but I'm tempted to boycott until we get a board!
Where is our board? I check every day thinking maybe today will be the day. Man does it burst my bubblel. :(

Still no October 2010 board, but it's been great reading this thread to hear your stories so far, ladies! We're getting married 10/9/10 and the FI actually picked that date. He hates warm weather and wanted to get married in a cooler month (but without snow).
Can you believe that it's close to 400 days away! It use to seem soooo far away, but it's going to be here before we know it.
I'm way ahead of the schedule, bought my dress a month after getting engaged, have the reception site, the church, the dj, and hopefully this Tuesday we will have the photographer. We also know who is doing our flowers (family friend who owns a flower shop), of DOC is a family friend as well. FI has his ring picked out and it's being held at the jeweler (which is also a close friend of his family).
I love fall weather and couldn't see myself getting married any other month...much to everyone around us who couldn't understand why we wanted to wait so long (even the priest wanted us to move the date up!!). The colors are beautiful as well!!

I'm a 10.10.10 bride in the DC Area. There's gotta be a special board for us. :) Cross your fingers!

I'm October 16, 2010. Yay!
Since my last post I have booked my caterer, the DJ, ordered my dress, picked out the Bridesmaid dresses, and started collecting interesting containers for the candy buffet! I also found some amazing Tommy Hilfiger peace sign flip flops and reusable grocery bags for my BM gifts. Sister Arboretum has taken on creatin jewlery for our girls, and a cute hair barrette. I most recently found the Save the date magnets I want to send out with my Holiday cards! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @ Cherry Limeade ----THANKS!!! I love it too!!!
I'm a 10.10.10'er too, and you all make me feel so behind in planning! We're getting married in a rental house on the beach in the Outer Banks, NC, so we can't really do too much until the rental site puts our month up! That, plus the fact that all of our family members are in NJ, NY, or MA and we're having a bit of a hard time planning on our own. I have been ogling Martha Stewart Weddings though :)
