I know that a few of us have started getting our BFP's resulting in October babies so I thought I'd get a thread rolling!
Date of BFP: 28 Jan - 13DPO
How many cycles TTC? Ten
How far along are you? 4w5d
Estimated due date: 1 October acording to my GP, 7 October according to Fertility Friend
Date of first prenatal appointment: I visited my GP on Tuesday and it was a complete non-event! I'll probably have a first appointment with a midwife at around 8 weeks.
Any Symptoms? Sore boobs and an icky feeling (not quite nausea) if I don't eat enough. I also have an elevated BBT and some random cramps.
Who have you told? Just DH, we're telling our parents this weekend which is our first wedding anniversary :-)
What are you googling right now? Other October 2012 Momma's!

Any Symptoms? heartburn and bloating! sometimes a little nausea

What are you googling right now? Maternity clothes, well I was doing that before I even got my bfp :)

How far along are you? 5w4d by LMP, 5w1d by ovulation date
Estimated due date: September 30 by LMP, Oct 3 by ovulation/conception date
Date of first prenatal appointment: Feb 9th with my fam doc - I was already scheduled for my annual anyway. Am still thinking about going with a midwife and have made a couple of calls, but will likely stick with the family doc
How are you feeling? Generally good, but sore boobs. I tried to squeeze them into my tight running bra yesterday for a workout and they weren't happy!
Who have you told? Noone, just me and DH know. We are paranoid about the potential for miscarriage (no prev history, first pregnancy) - I work in health care so I know a little more than I'd like about these things.
What are you reading/google searching/preparing for? Miscarriage stats, ways to calculate due date, pregnancy symptoms

How far along are you? Don't know, I have pcos and really long cycles
Estimated due date: I'll have to wait for my appointment with the RE for a date
Date of first prenatal appointment: I have my first appointment with my RE next wedenesday, but already had 3 blood tests to measure my HCG and progesterone
Any Symptoms? Sore boobs, some cramps but those have slowed down, hungry all the time and super tired
Who have you told? Just DH, we're scared of miscarriage because of my pcos
What are you googling right now? HCG an progesterone levels

Date of first prenatal appointment: I am going to my OBGYN on the 7th to do a physical exam, family history, paperwork and POAS-they don't do blood work for some reason? On the 21st is when we get to do our first ultrasound!!
Any Symptoms? Sore boobs and an icky feeling (not quite nausea) if I don't eat enough. Random cramps, trouble sleeping and strong sense of smell!
Who have you told? DH and my bestfriend, we are surprising our family this Sunday at our super bowl party that we are hosting (which is really a "surprise we are preggers" party, hehe)
What are you googling right now? Lots of week by week information, youtube videos on pregnancy and doctors in my area

Date of first prenatal appointment: It's set for March 5th
Any Symptoms? Sore boobs, some cramps but those are almost gone, not really hungry, and my sense of smell is way off!
Who have you told? Hubby & SIL
What are you googling right now? Maternity clothes, miscarrige info, weekly development, and pretty much anything to do with pregnancy.
Well we just got our BFP this week for our first cycle following our miscarriage. We're so happy but pretty nervous too- here's to hoping this one sticks!
Date of BFP: February 2nd - 10DPO
How many cycles TTC? Two (One cycle to conceive our first- miscarriage, one cycle to conceive this baby)
How far along are you? 3w6d
Estimated due date: October 15- smack dab in the middle :)
Date of first prenatal appointment: I put an email into our first choice midwife yesterday. Hopefully going to a walk-in for beta confirmation on the weekend.
Any Symptoms? Exhaustion, voracious hunger and nausea.
Who have you told? DH, my SIL and one of my girlfriends at work who knew about my miscarriage.
What are you googling right now? Nada- trying to avoid google to keep from freaking out about increased miscarriage risks, etc.

Who have you told? DH only, not sure when to tell other people; obviously want to get another BFP in a few days
What are you googling right now? I live in Bermuda and stuff is expensive, so first I googled a list of must haves, then got on our craiglist equivalent and started emailing people. We bought a diaper genie today and am talking to a woman about a crib/rocker/sterilizer. I also ordered the Mayo Clinic's Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy at the bookstore. Also been reading up on the bee about MC/when to announce to everyone. Been a busy day!!

Estimated due date: October 6th according to my DLM, Oct 14th when my long cycle is accounted for - basically anytime in between!
Date of first prenatal appointment: Ill call my OBGYN tomorrow but I did already have a check up scheduled for march 1st
Any Symptoms? Full breasts, nausea, hunger

Any symptoms? Mega sore boobs, not quite nausea (just an iffy feeling!) and I think the fatigue has officially kicked in, all I want to do is lie on the couch!
Who have you told? We told our parents and DH's sister on Friday. My Mum reckoned I had the same look on my face as I did when we told them we were getting maried
Pre-Natal appointments / Scans? This week's job is finding a midwife so I guess I'll find out about scans and stuff when I do
Anything else to add? It's hard work growing a baby and I'm currently swinging from joy and excitement to fear and mild panic! I spent a lot of time thinking about TTC but not that much about actually being pregnant (if that makes sense!)

How is everyone feeling? I made my appointment, but it isn't until March 6th, hopefully the time passes quickly! I am still super bloated and hoping that will go down soon. Does anyone have any special plans of telling your family and friends? I ordered these personalized fortune cookies that are so cute. They say "Baby T will arrive in the near future, Lucky Month: October 2012". Just thought it was something different that everyone could enjoy opening at the same time. I don't know how long I can hold off telling my family.
I'm about 4w1d now. I'm fighting a trerrible cold since I got my BFP. Haven't been feeling any other symptoms except the sore boobs since this cold is overwhelming. Hopefully I'll beat it soon!
I'm 4w right now and I'm also super bloated...bleh. That's the only sympton right now, so praying that I don't get bad m/s!
We live abroad so have planned skype sessions with both of our families this weekend. We are going to go ahead and tell parents/siblings. I'm going to buy for one of our cats "I'm going to be a big brother" bibs. I'll then "get distracted" by the cat and go pick one up and see how long it takes them to see the bib and ask about it. We had initially pranked my parents, telling them we were adding a new addition to the family. Of course, they thought babies, but then I showed them the kittie. They loved it, so I thought this would be a fun way to tell them!

@hopefulmama: Still only have sore breasts, otherwise feel completely normal. So the pregnancy doesn't feel quite that "real" to me yet. We're not planning on telling anyone until after the NT scan at around 13-14 weeks.
@crystlrox: I am just bloated also. I do have some random spouts of nausea but haven't thrown up yet.
My cycles are generally closer to 35 days -- I know I ovulated around the 23rd... and my last period was new years eve. Based on my period I'm due Oct 6th but... could that be off?
I hate that I cant get in to the doc until the first of march!
Well we had our first ultrasound today because of our miscarriage last month, but only got to see a thriving corpus luteum. We rescheduled for February 27, and they think we'll get some heartbeat action by then! So excited!
We're planning on telling my IL's on the 3rd of March. When is everyone else planning on telling?

Date of first prenatal appointment: Saw OB today for confirmation test, she scheduled me in 20 days for bloodwork (at the lab not her office), and then between 8-10 weeks along I have to call again to get an appointment at her actual office at an official pregnant patient!
Any Symptoms? TIRED, sore nipples, TIRED, &....TIRED.
Who have you told? Just DH. We're seriously not telling another soul until 13+ weeks.
What are you googling right now? Nothin-I am EBAYING. I just bought a brand new bella band for $5. I am going to buy more but I figured i'll get them as I need 'em.
I can't wait to start my preggo belly photos...I am starting at 4 weeks and taking pics every 2 weeks from then on out. I have a long torso so I don't think i'll show ANY TIME SOON but it's nice to pretend somethin's there:) I am also going to try to wear the same shirt in all pix for comparisn purposes
@blondy: 13-14 weeks for us too....honestly if I can keep my mouth shut for longer than that, I will.
I am not "officially" joining yet, I will when I am ready......but omg as soon as I go pee and sit back down at my desk, I feel like I have to pee again......it never stops!!!!

Are any of you other October mommies voraciously hungry? Yesterday we went out to dinner for all you can eat fish and chips, and it was embarassing how much cod I put away.
@TurtleDoves: I would love to keep the pregnancy our little secret for that long. Unfortunately, people are already starting to question if the reason I'm not drinking at any cocktail parties (I have to go to at least 3 per week for work) is because I might be pregnant. I wish there was a way to have a "fake" drink at these events. I have to say, I'm pretty shocked by how many people have asked me if I'm pregnant...
@Beebug: I'm also not "officially" joining yet (blood test results come back this afternoon hopefully!) butttt I had to comment because I feel the exact same way! I've been at work for an hour and a half and I've already gone to the bathroom 3 times...the last 2 times I was trying to hold it so I don't look crazy but it got to the point where I HAD to go. Ridiculous!
@FutureJessicaMcB: Yes!! Glad I'm not the only one. I am always hungry and want to order everything on the menu... my poor husband just smiles because he knows I'll eat maybe a quarter of what I order. He's taken to letting me order for him, so I can have bites of his food (read the other entree I really wanted).
@FutureJessicaMcB: I have told my sister and my grandma already. We are telling DH's family today and the rest of my family this weekend.
We were going to wait and tell the kids until after the 1st Tri but DH wants to tell them now so we are telling them tonight.
My apt for labs is Feb 23rd and my first apt with my doc is Feb 29th I'm so excited.

@WinterWhite2012: isn't it crazy how all of a sudden people ask if you are pregnant? I have had the same problem, people randomly asking if we are going to announce we're pregnant. I just answer...nope, no announcement. I mean, technically its not lying, right? We just arent announcing it.
@MarryMeTiffany: I thought we would wait longer to tell our family as well but I really can't keep it in anymore. Plus the cute little fortune cookies that I ordered already came, so I just want to hand them out to everyone! Hopefully I can make it the full 12 weeks to tell our friends...
@WinterWhite2012: that's so odd that THAT'S immediately what people assume...makes me feel like I should just avoid outings until the 13w deadline....i'd feel SO guilty telling my friends or co-workers before my mom knew....she's been waiting for a baby since I got engaged lol

@FutureJess: I am hungrier too...but no cravings yet. I just feel like I need to eat tiny meals allll throughout the day. At the same time: I have a very "off" feeling about a lot of food. When I open the fridge and smell stuff I dry heave...so I just stick to dry foods from the pantry!
My (now old) OB didn't want to get me in for B/W until 2/27 which is 3 weeks away. But since I have a mild case of PCOS and low Progesterone, my hubby made me call around to another OB and guess what? MY NEW OB got me in today for b.w:) so now i'll get results tomorrow instead of in 3 weeks. I'm liking how on top of things my new OB is!
Seriously. How cute are these? (Much cuter without the black blob, sorry). I thought it would be fun for everyone to open something since this will be the 5th grandchild on my side.
@WinterWhite2012: You haven't tried mocktails? Like order a club soda with a lime - looks just like a gin and tonic!! This is hard if you order all drinks together. There was a thread about this last week.

I got another BFP this am. I wanted to take another once AF was actually late. So I'm really convinced this time!!
We are still planning on telling family this weekend. I was just curious why people waiting to tell family?? I know there is a hire risk of MC, but I can't wait to tell my parents/siblings. I'm trying to decide how long before I tell coworkers/friends. I will probably tell a few of my close friends next week and then coworkers after 8 weeks (or until I show). I'm pretty sure I will start showing pretty soon, or gain weight anyway. This is all very exciting!!
