@out4answers: that’s awesome! 🙂 mine randomly emailed me and said that him and his fiance (aka our second shooter) check out my boards to get an idea of what I want. I hadn’t told them about it so it was awesome!

We’re eloping with no guests and 3 of our 4 parents have passed away. We decided to get a bouquet charm with a pic of my parents and a boutinniere charm with a pic of his parents. The only picture that I’m going to specifically request is a closeup of the bouquet and boutinnere together with the charms and us in the background out of focus. I think that will be a wonderful shot. 🙂

My friend who got married last year mentioned that she is dissatisfied with her wedding photographs because she’s missing shots of the people who are important to her, but who weren’t necessarily in the bridal party or family portraits. Her one piece of advice was to tell the photographer who matters to you so they know to get those shots.

Here’s mine 🙂 Our photographer actually went on my pinterest before our engagement photos and took some inspiration so I’m thinking they’ll do the same for the wedding. I’m still making a list, thought!

Gosh glad I found this thread…. I hadn’t even thought of this. But it’s a great idea!

@weddingbound: Glad I could help 😉 I wanted to make a list but I’ve been putting it off. We’re meeting with our photogs soon though so I need to get it done and figured I could probably get some great ideas from you ladies!

We want kind of nontraditional wedding pictures. Don’t really want the basic pictures that everyone have. We want modern style stuff like these.
I love this picture of the first touch but have the wedding party in the back on each side.
Kind of like this.
I made these “I Do” blue rhinestone on my shoes so this is a great way to show it off.
This is such a great solo picture.
This is by far my FAVORITE group picture style. I would love to have some of our pictures like this. Not really staged but staged style.
