So who is getting married in October 2012? I don’t know if there is a roll call going already but I haven’t seen one.

When did you get engaged? October 2, 2011
When is your wedding? October 20, 2012
What state or country is your wedding in? New Mexico, USA
What are your wedding colors? Black, white and a touch or red
What is your wedding theme? Romantic, classic, modern and elegant (we are getting married in the Land of Enchatment, so our theme is really, "An Enchanted Romance".
How many people are you expecting? 65-75
How large is your bridal party? 8 (4 girls and 4 guys)
Did you find your dress? Yup and I love it but it is missing something
What do you need help finding or doing? Finding an affordable sash or dress trim to jazz up my dress
Are you a DIY bride? Yup and I love it.

I feel these boards are so large and generic. It would be cool to chat from now until our big day. with just our "Date Twins". I feel we can all be excited together since we all share the same day.

I forgot to add, where are you honeymooning at? We are going to Mexico. We booked our honeymoon last month but didn't buy plane tickets as yet (of course). Super excited about them both. Sometimes can't decided which I am more excited about the wedding day or the honeymoon. lol

@MissPumpkinPie: I say cruise but you can't bet Vegas. An October cruise is during Hurrican season but October in Vegas might be just right. I love Vegas, have you been before? Congrats, on the engagements.

@FutureFoxWife: hello date twin. So to answer your questions.

Did you find your dress? Not yet! an i late on that?
You are not really late. I know I am a hard person to please so I needed to start looking asap. However, do you have an idea on what you like? Have you started trying on dress or even looking online at styles? I thought I wanted a mermaid dress before I got engaged then I tired it on at the store after I got engaged and realized it didn't look good on me. So I was glad in the end, I started looking early. Also, one less thing to do for the wedding.

What do you need help finding or doing?  Cheap but cool favors, more mason jars, more old books. Have you tried your local Craigslist? I am a bargain betty and is always looking on both eBay and CL for deals. I've had much succes on both for the wedding.

Congrats on your engagement, can't wait to watch this post grow as our dates become closer.

@GroovyHippieChick: We was also considering Hawaii but we heard to many scary stories about how high eating and drinking was. We wanted an all inclusive resort and Hawaii doesn't have any. So we choice the next best thing- Mexico. It is still close to us, has all inclusive resorts and offers affordable package rate.

@FutureFoxWife: Good luck. I got a little stressed by the 3rd store so take a break from dress shopping. Don't let people talk you into something you are not 100% about. Keep us posted. I'm thinking of asking the Oct brides to post their dress. Maybe starting Jan.

@Miss Ford: Congrats on everything. I think this post will be great for us to share ideas and help each other out. I am a Bargain Betty with class so I can help you find cheap stuff. @funfunfun: Welcome to my problem. We just moved to Albuquerque, NM from Atlanta, GA 8 months ago and I still haven't found a hair dresses. I am praying my good friend from Atlanta comes to our wedding because she is a fantastic hairdresser and she said she will do my hair for the wedding. Good luck on the search.

Also, your winery ceremony sounds pretty. You need to send pics soon.

What is your wedding theme? Romantic, vintage elegant 
How many people are you expecting? ~150
How large is your bridal party? 4 on each side + a junior bridesmaid and 2 junior groomsmen
Did you find your dress? YES and it's perfect and I can't wait to wear it!!
What do you need help finding or doing? Not going crazy... I have most big things booked and bought, but now it's the little details I'm worrying about.
Are you a DIY bride? I thought I'd try... but I don't have the time or skills for it so probably not haha

@Toronto_CDolly: I have to think of some cool favors. I am also thinking outside the box and giving my guest a few things as favors. Some personal some generic. Welcome

@Nicoley1985: I believe it's the little details that makes a wedding stand out. I am also going over the top with details. So we will be in this together. Congrats on your day. Looking forward to seeing the process come along as the months go by.

@khf777: What kind of help do you need with the honeymoon? We are pretty much set in that department. Also, I think an outside wedding at night is going to be pretty. Congrats
