I am so excited and can't believe the year is almost out. Before you know it, it will be October, lol. I started a October 2012 roll call and I will post a few other October 2012 boards. Like this.

Are you planning on getting a band? No band, I'm a single ring girl, lol.

Do you love it? Absolutely. We've been engaged for a little over a year and I still find myself staring at it every once in awhile! ;)
Who picked it? We ring shopped a bit together and pretty much made the decision together, but the purchase and the proposal was a COMPLETE surprise to me! I didn't think it was coming for quite awhile.
Are you planning on getting a band? Yes! We already have it. It's a simple straight diamond band, similar to the "twisted" bands in my ring, just a little wider than one of them.

Do you love it? Absolutely!
Who picked it? My FI and I actually designed it together right after the engagement using two of his grandmother's diamonds who passed away a few years ago.
Are you planning on getting a band? Yes. I havent gotten it yet but I'm either going to get a small channel-set diamond band or just a plain white gold band to go with it.

Do you love it? More than anything I have ever owned!
Who picked it? He picked it. I mentioned long ago that I would prefer a sapphire to a diamond, and he did great! I think it is the most beutiful thing I've ever seen.
Are you planning on getting a band? Yes, but we have to get it custom made because the setting is large and sits flush with my finger. Something like this.

Do you love it? Omigosh, yes!
Who picked it? We shopped for it together the day after he proposed, but I was the one who spotted it first and said "that one, that one, that one!" He agreed that it was the perfect ring (for me).
Are you planning on getting a band? Yup! Thinking about something like this beauty.

Who picked it? He picked it 100% by himself! I have a gemstone ring with a halo so I think he may have used that as inspiration somewhat -- though he never admits to it!
Are you planning on getting a band? Yes! And I'm sooo torn! Plain white gold... or more diamonds?!

Do you love it? More than anything!!! Been engaged for a year and a half and I still get distracted by the sparkle!!
Who picked it? He picked it. He had his two best friends give him suggestions and what not, but he picked the diamond himself. (Yay for Leo diamonds!)
Are you planning on getting a band? Yes, we're contemplating getting rings with each others fingerprints on the inside. I saw rings like that on Pinterest and LOVED the idea. :)

Who picked it? FI designed it with his family jeweler, I've never seen anything like it and everyone always goes crazy over it.
Are you planning on getting a band? Yup. Going to get the same three row pave diamonds that are on the sides and then putting a chip of his birthstone on the inside. So excited that they can do that!

Who picked it? He picked it out. He told the jeweler he wanted something that looked like an Eiffle Tower from the side. Somehow that description got me exactly what I wanted!
Are you planning on getting a band? Although we haven't bought it yet, we are planning on buying it's matching band.

Who picked it? i designed it because FI wanted to make sure i absolutely loved it. he said if i had left it up to him he would have chosen something totally different!
Are you planning on getting a band? yes, 2. one that matches the thin band on my ring, and another "stackable" design band, maybe something with french cut or baguettes.
