mbentley93:

I have to go to an appointment with the florist tonight to finalize the details. We need to choose our songs for first dance and mother-son/father-daughter dances. I just have to find out three more peoples meals by tomorrow. FI needs to figure out where he is going to get ready. Finalize the numbers for who is getting makeup done. FI needs to pick up his suit a few days before. Otherwise … Just payments and everything is all set to go.

We bought these beautiful peacock thank you notes by Punch Studio. The envelopes are gorgeous too!

Somehow I am already at 19 days out!! Still have plenty to do though!

– Apply for marriage license

– Finalize & wrap up all attendant gifts. Attempted to put on my “thank you” wine bottle labels today and it ended up being diasterous so I am coming back to finish this task up the weekend before the wedding.

– Circulate my day of schedule and rehersal dinner info to bridal party (waiting till less then 2-week mark so people don’t lose the info)

– Finalize song choices with DJ

– Confirm with all vendors, make final payments

– Organize and box up all decor to bring to venue on rehersal day

Also waiting for the jewelry store to call and tell me FI’s ring is ready to be picked up! Time is flying… bachelorette party this coming Saturday as well as my hair trial!

My weekend was somewhat productive, but I guess I did cross some stuff off from what I listed above.

I got the following done or almost done:

  • Finish making flowers (bouquets, bouts and corsages) – got all bouts done, as well as BM bouquets. I still have to wrap mine, and finish female bouts
  • Write on chalk signs (guestbook and one for the RBs)
  • Final fitting for dress – today! I’m sure I’ll meet with the gal again next month too.
  • Order MOG present
  • Order bracelet to complete my look (already have earrings)

<div style=”overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;”>So, not a bad weekend – and it’s always nice to have things done. My mom and I plan on working on flowers again Sunday… so hopefully we can get them done then.</div>
<div style=”overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;”> </div>
<div style=”overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;”>I also need to email our photgrapher this week to set up a meeting. She’s from out of town, but has in town sessions the next few weekends, so that should be easy to find a time – hopefully.</div>
<div style=”overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;”> </div>
<div style=”overflow: hidden; color: #000000; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; text-decoration: none;”>And, I need decide when I bring my ring in to get soldered to my wedding bands. It takes 2 weeks to get back – so I’m thinking by next Friday so it’s back within a week of the wedding. Otherwise, I may panic. *lol*</div>
