Me, me, me! I replied on another October thread recently lol but I have to get my invites calligraphied, dress alterations, place cards, bathroom baskets. That’s really it. I’m pretty prepared! Also need to finalize some music stuff. The music part is the one that’s making me nervous since i’m super OCD about what’s going to be played at the wedding.

Thank you for starting this thread! I’ve thought about making one so many times because there wasn’t one just for us, but I never did.

We got engaged on Valentine’s Day (it was our sixth anniversary) so we haven’t had a whole lot of time! We’ve gotten a lot of the big stuff taken care of, but there’s some things we still need to do, like decide on a cake and flowers. We also have to finalize our decorations (tablecloths, etc.). We know what we’re doing for those, and we just have to sign the contract.

It feels like there’s so much left to do, and so little time! We did book our honeymoon a few weeks ago though, and that felt great!

I am (hopefully) done with all of the big stuff. My wedding is a dw so no tastings or hair/makeup trials Surprised. I am diy-ing our aisle decorations now and will soon have to make a timeline and who is in charge of what lists. Invitations are in and need to finalize addresses and then print addresses on envelopes around August? I also need to get my dress altered and finish buying wedding party gifts. I need to buy a few more items and I will be done with my centerpieces. The more I type the more I realize I need to do!!!

yay for october 26th!!!

all our big bits are done; venue, catering, DJ, rings, suits and dresses. friends are doing our cake and flowers so have arranged little meetings with them over the next few months. booked my hair and makeup trial for September…. feeling scarily organised!!! i think i am pretty much done apart from the bits that we need to know final numbers for – place cards, table plan etc.

my dress will need altering but want to leave that AS LATE as possible – lost nearly 3 stone since buying the dress and looking to loose another 2 – aiming for 70lbs in total! been breaking in my shoes around the house – want those beauties to be like slippers on the day! 🙂 my veil turned up the other day – its really starting to feel real now!!

I was just browsing threads the the title for this one popped up.

I’m not even engaged, but in my mind I’ve always wanted to be married on October 26th. Pretty specific date.

X-Files theme is now playing in my head…I know people are bound to get married on that date but still…

This is like the other day when I was reading about engagment chicken and my boyfriend randomly sent me a picture…of a chicken…

Anyway, I hope you all have fantastic and fabulous weddings!!!!

I’m a 10/26 bride and I should be able to make all of you feel better about where you are in your planning! I have very little done! I still need to order invites, pick bouquets and other flowers, centerpieces, food, alcohol, a cake, a veil… the list goes on! I got the big stuff out of the way (venue, DJ, photographer, dress) pretty early and haven’t done much since. The next few months will be stressful but I hope everything will fall into place. SmileIf not, we’ll still end up married. (If we can find and book a minster, that is…)

Yay! 101 days to go!!! Last week I went into total stress mode- this week I am a bit calmer

Big stuff I did right away a year ago, bc my sister was getting married in December, and I didn’t want to wait until after to begin planning, but wanted my stuff out of the way so that we could enjoy hers.

Then I took a break and I am in full swing mode-

still have little things to do, like finalize flowers, decide on linens and everyother last minute thing that can’t be done til now lol. I am in the process of assembling invites and hope to get them out no later than Aug 2nd. How early is everyone else sending theirs out?
