Hi there, ladies! I know, October 3 seems really close, considering I don't have a dress yet... Hope planning is going well for you. Question: what are you all doing for colors?
We are getting married October 3rd as well. Our colors are Chocolate and Burnt Orange. The planning so far is going great. Things have fallen into place for us. This coming Monday I go wedding dress shopping, hoping this goes as well as everything else. Can't believe how the time is flying by!!! Hope planning is going well for others as well. Congrats to all!!

Our colors are eggplant purple, chocolate brown, and ivory.
I have a dress but do not fit in it now-eek! I need to start ramping up my workout routine NOW!
October 3rd bride here as well :) We are getting married outside in the Annapolis area, keeping my fingers crossed for good weather! Our colors are coral, chocolate brown and ivory. Already purchased a dress online, but not sure about it, am going to check out the running of the brides sale next week and see what they have. Hope plans are coming along well for the rest of you!
Yep, we're outside too...at my parents' ranch. We've picked a lovely spot, and I found an awesome color scheme that I love (I think!). Just need to find the dress. Congrats to all of you!
We are outside too, but in Arizona, so we should be okay. My colors are black and white! So excited! Can't believe we are almost to the 6 month mark!
I'm a couple weeks late on this, but I'm an Oct 3rd bride, too! We live and are getting married in the Washington, DC area! For the person who asked about colors, we're doing white and gold - possibly with red or fuschia accents.

10/3 for me too! Our colors are eggplant and apple green. The FH says "purple and green." :) Just picked out the tuxes today (I was only there for support), and also booked my florist! We're getting married in East Aurora, NY. Congratulations to the rest of you as well:)
We are getting married in Manhattan - our colors are navy blue, golden yellow and white.
YAY, Finally! I've been waiting for Oct 3rd brides to pop up! Congrats to everyone! Our colors are aqua, orange, brown, white, and some purple in there. I still have a lot to do...including finding a dress!!!
I may be an october bride too depending on my schedule the time to book a church and get time off; is pink not fitting for an october wedding; I also love fuschia and royal blue; think these dont fit in with fall? I definitely am not a big fan of orange or brown; help!
@ ilovenycmissie - Aqua is my main color and I did start worrying that the color seemed to fit more into spring, but I think you should do what you want! We're doing orange because FI's favorite sports team color is orange. Thankfully orange looks pretty with aqua!
I think fuschia and royal blue would be gorgeous!
aw thinks, I think fuschia and royal blue would clash, for me its one or the other and maybe and accent black if fuschia or an accent color if royal blue, just wondering if it wont fit in with the crisp air

October 3rd bride here.... we're getting married in suburban Cleveland, OH. I have everything booked with the exception of the Cake, Favors, Dress, Ceremony Musicians, Wedding Invitiations and Transportation. God, when I write it down it looks like so much!
We're meeting with the priest for the first time tomorrow and then I'm going directly to the store to try on dresses for the first time! I'm so excited!!! Unfortunatley out of all 6 bridesmaids, only one can make it for moral support :( I'm hoping to find a dress by the end of the month and get the rest of the stuff wrapped up within the next couple weeks.
I am back and forth on our colors, but there will definitely be espresso, gold/champagne, and moss green in there :)
Oct 3 in Sacramento, Ca! Our colors are Navy Blue, Teal, Champagne, and Ivory. Our theme is vintage glamour cocktail lounge. Teal velvet lounge area by the bar, raw silk handmade linens (thanks mom!) and mucho blue uplighting on ivory draping. Our wedding is 75% DIY. yay!! sooo much to do!

SINCE WE ARE SOUTHERNERS LOL. BUT, IT IS GOING TO HAVE A TOUCH OF CLASS NO " REDNECK WEDDING" SO TO SPEAK! VERY NICE AND ELEGANT. MY CENTERPIECES ARE MASON JARS WITH DARK COLORED GERBERA DAISIES!! I LOVE IT AND MY BM'S ARE WEARING THE COLOR PALM BEACH CORAL FROM DAVIDS. AND THE GM ARE WEARING BORWN SUITS WITH CORAL ACCENTS! IM SOO OBSESSED WITH THIS WEDDING PLANNING THING :).....SOMETIMES I FORGET TO KEEP THE GROOM HAPPY :) ANYWAYS ANY FLORIDA OCOTBER BRIDES OUT THERE?

I'm an October 3rd, now. We set it up a day. LOL. In "Boondocks", Kentucky, lol. But I love it here. It's really pretty during the fall
Our colors are just fall colors in general. Flowers are mainly orange & rust colors, the bridesmaid dresses may be two different shades of brown. And with a little bit of mossy oak camo for the guys. I originally was going to have some, but I think the only camo I'm wearing is the garters. We're getting married in my church. We're too afraid to have it outside, with my luck, it would come a flood! lol
I've went dress looking once. I need to go again. Things are coming along. Quickly and then slowly. LOL

I'm october 3. we don't have a color scheme. we're getting married in a gazebo in a park in Dallas. The wedding theme is "fun"

October 3rd! Yippee! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to finally have a date-- we had the hardest time finding a venue (argh!), so for the longest time, we had nothing official. Our main colors are black, white and moss green w/ red and plum accents. Momentum is finally building up for our planning, but how I already long for a weekend without racing around or crafting up a storm.
I'm another October 3rd bride. I don't think we could have picked a more perfect time of year to get married personally. Our ceremony will be outdoors at The Duke Gardens so we'll be surrounded by some truly awesome fall colors. Because of that we've gone with rich copper and eggplant as our main colors, with a wine color as a small accent.
We're less than 5 months out now ladies! Woo hoo!

As of yesterday, we have 3 months left girls! How far are you in planning? I just ordered my dress last month (of which will be here in August) and I ordered the girls gowns this past Thursday. I got my flowers, and a few other things. I feel like I'm running behind! Ahh! LOL!
i'm an october 3rd bride, too! our colors are chartreuse, grey, and eggpant. we are aso having a black and white stripe theme. still need to get the bridesmaid dresses! ahh! we are getting married outside in woodridge! so excited!
Not quite an October 3 bride, but since we're getting married on a Tuesday, we're not date twins with anyone. Colors are ivory, gold, and wine. We're having a very small ceremony in MA, then a much bigger reception back in DC.
Yeah, less than 3 months to go!!!!! My dress is in but am waiting to schedule fitting for a few more weeks. Big things left are the tuxes and sending out the invites, which are already addressed, just waiting to send them out!!! Still have little things left to do, but the majority is completed. I'm just wishing it was already here!!!!! Keep up the great work October brides, we are almost there!!!!

October 3 in Jacksonville, Florida! Our colors are Navy and rose pink with pale aqua accents. I cannot believe it's so close!! I don't know about anyone else, but I am just ready for it to get here already!

I am October 3rd too!!! Getting married in North Jersey - hoping for a beautiful day for all of us! Colors are chocolate brown/ivory/moss & olives greens. Trying to stay rustic/natural/organic in colors.
Does anyone else get really nervous when they look at the calendar??? August is this weekend, which only leaves September to do things, since October 3rd is the first Saturday of October!
