How many days until due date: 2 (Oct. 6)

Do you have an induction planned: nope!

How are you on weight gain: about 18 lbs

I’m most looking forward to: seeing what our baby looks like!

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy: sleeping, getting out of bed from sleeping, walking up stairs without going into full on sweats…

Any signs of labor: not particularly, random BH and I am dilated to 4cm

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…):
Yoga ball nightly, some cat/cow poses, relaxing

What is left on your to do list: not much! just waiting for the crib sheets/curtains to be delivered, but all major things are checked off. LAST DAY OF WORK = TODAY!!!

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!):
Alexandra (Alex)

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..):
DH was going to take off 3-4 weeks of PTO, but he’s one of those non-essential employees of the Federl Government. So now I’m on mat leave, and he’s on furlough… paychecks!? PFFFFFT. (Seriously, they better back pay these guys, or its going to SUCK) So anyway, he’ll be home with me at least a month.

Mom is also in town – coming to stay with us until further notice starting tomorrow. Give me strength! 🙂

How many days until due date:  I am officially 1 week OVERDUE!

Do you have an induction planned:  We sure do.  This little munchkin is not coming out on her own, at least not before her 16th birthday.  We are scheduled to head into the hospital at 10am on Sunday for cervidil and the rest of the process depends on how my body reacts to it.

How are you on weight gain:  I haven’t been keeping track of my weight gain, but doctor mentioned today that she is very happy with the amount I’ve gained.

I’m most looking forward to:  Having this little peanut out of me and getting to cuddle her and to see my DH with her.

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy: Physically I still feel great.  I think the emotional part is the hardest – knowing I’m so close to having the little one on the outside but frustarted that my body isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do naturally.

Any signs of labor:  Nada!

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…):  Maybe this is why I’ve gone overdue since I haven’t done much.  I’ve walked everyday and I’ve bounced but that’s it.

What is left on your to do list:  Deliver the baby!

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!): We have officially decided to go with Isla Hope.

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..):  DH will be home for a week and then my mom said she can come by any time I need for help since she lives 20 minutes away.

So my names not on the new threads list, but I was apart of the last one.

My Update:

Team pink

How many days until due date? 20 days left!

Do you have an induction planned? Not really, but the doc and I have agreed not to go over 41 weeks. At that point if I go that long we will induce.

How are you on weight gain? About 40 to 45lbs

I’m most looking forward to? Meeting our little girl and getting my body back.

Hardest part of this stage of pregnacy? Still being pregnant, insomnia, getting in/out of bed. Just getting comfortable in general. Heart burn!

Any signs of labor? None that I know of yet, Doc will check on wed.

What are you doing to prepare for labor? Nothing yet.

What is left on your to do list? A good house cleaning and pack the hospital bags.

Have you fully decided on a name for your LO? We have a list of names, but nothing set in stone yet.

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital? DH will be home with me for about two weeks so we can get the swing of things down. Other than that im pretty confident we’ll be fine on our own.

How many days until due date:  Tomorrow is my due date! I am in disbelief that I’m still pregnant!

Do you have an induction planned: We were going to do a pitocin induction tomorrow, but as of Thursday my cervix was not favorable enough. Last check, I was at 3.5 cm, 70% effaced and -3 station. My doctor plans to strip my membranes again on Wednesday.

How are you on weight gain: Oye. My favorite question. 60 lbs.

I’m most looking forward to: Holding my sweet baby and getting my body back into shape.

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy: Just the unknowns/waiting. I wish baby girl would send me a memo letting me know when she’ll be making her debut because I convince myself that every day is THE day.

Any signs of labor: Bloody show and occasional contractions, but nothing consistent.

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…): Stretching and walking

What is left on your to do list: Have a baby!

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!): Yes! We’ve decided on Josephine Elizabeth/

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..): My mom has been in town the past week and will stay for a few days after Josephine is born. My husband will be around as much as possible, but he has quite a bit of traveling to do this month so I will be playing single mom a little bit.

@Jayhawkmama:  how was the membrane sweep? I declined last week, but if I’m still pregnant on Thursday, I might do it. Sounds… Awful :/

Thanks for starting this!

How many days until due date: 18 days (Our due date is actually the 24th, not 21st)

Do you have an induction planned: Nope. I’d love to meet our baby soon though, so I’m hoping he/she will come a little early.

How are you on weight gain: Up 22 lbs.

I’m most looking forward to: Holding my little love. And not having a big ol’ belly in the way when I try to put my shoes on. 😛

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy: Putting on socks, being on my feet all day at work, hearing people ask “Haven’t you had that baby yet?!?”

Any signs of labor: Lost a bit of my plug a few nights ago, but nothing else yet.

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…): EPO, raspberry leaf tea, and that’s  about it. I’m not desperate enough to try sex yet.

What is left on your to do list: I’m making a few baby blankets and sleep sacks that I need to finish, and I haven’t prewashed my cloth diapers yet. Other than that I’m good to go.

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!): Evelyn for a girl. For a boy we’re still undecided. Thinking either Harrison or Tobias.

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..): DH is going to take a week off to be with the baby and me, but after that we’re on our own. We’ve finally talked the MIL down from staying over.

How many days until due date: 18 days until scheduled c-section.

Do you have an induction planned: Nope! I just hope I make it to my c-section, which is scheduled 5 days before my due date.

How are you on weight gain: 24 lbs

I’m most looking forward to: Meeting our baby and seeing DH hold him. Also, getting my body back.

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy: The entire 24 lbs gained went to my belly. Lugging my belly around with painful stretch marks is no fun. My pelvis kills sometimes.

Any signs of labor: Nope! Just standard BH, usually when I’m turning in bed.

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…): Not much at this point due to c-section. Exercise stopped about 2 weeks ago. I just feel too uncomfortable.

What is left on your to do list: We need to get a new frame for our bed and a small dresser for the nursery. I need to organize the nursery a bit more with all the gifts we got. DH needs to put together the baby swing we have. Oh, and I need to pack my hospital bag.

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!): I’m 95% sure (DH is 100%), so I’ve ony told a handful of people. It was really tough to find a boy name!

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..): My mom, sister and dad will be there for 3 days after the birth, then my mom will stay another 2 weeks. DH will take 2 weeks off, but will likely need to work a bit from home that second week because he is the only one in his position.

How many days until due date:

11

Do you have an induction planned:

Yep. If lil miss thing doesn’t make her appearance by Thursday I’ll be getting induced early that morning on the 10th.

How are you on weight gain:

 I am up 16ish lbs

I’m most looking forward to:

Seeing how my DD will interact with her baby sister.

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy:

 Everything

Any signs of labor:

Contractions but nothing consistent. I had them all afternoon and then went for a walk to see if they would intensify and they went away. They’re back so they need to make some progress or go the hell away so that I can sleep tonight because they’re so annoying.

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…):

Nothing. I’ve eaten pineapple and done some nip stimulation and that’s it

What is left on your to do list:

 Have this baby

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!):

 Yep. Emery Idaly

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..):

My MIL invited herself over to come stay a week after the baby is born. I’m not so thrilled on the whole thing but she can tend to DD while I deal with baby stuff and breastfeeding.

@hirsche:  I am not on the list either. Weird. We are team blue.

How many days until due date:

3

Do you have an induction planned:

Not yet. I have a doc appt on Wednesday so hopefully we will talk about it then. I do know my doc tries not to induce so he will probably let me go at least a week late

How are you on weight gain:

Yea, I am up like 60 pounds…

I’m most looking forward to:

Pretty much everything. Other than the obvious being a mom stuff, but also being able to have a glass of wine and sleep on my stomach.

Hardest part of this stage of  pregnancy:

The waiting.

Any signs of labor:

Not really. Had some contractions over the weekend but nothing to get excited about

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,  exercise  ball, stretches…):

I was doing EPO for a while but got lazy. I drinnk the Red Raspberry Leaf tea but more because I actually love the taste.

What is left on your to do list:

Nothing. And I keep telling the LO that he can come out now because we have no more projects on the list

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!):

Ryan Michael

Are you getting any help when you return home from the hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..):

Well DH gets 48 hours off, but most of that will probably be spent in the hospital. My mom will be here and hopefully get to stay a few days (she works for the government so it would be nice to have Ryan now while she is off). I will be surprised if the ILs show up to see the baby before he is even a week old (but that is a whole different post!)

How many days until due date: 17 (DD Oct 24!)

Do you have an induction planned: No.  I’m hoping I’ll go a couple days before my due date but my mom and sister have always been late – anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks.

How are you on weight gain: Up about 40 pounds.  Not what I planned or hoped for but my doctors haven’t been concerned and I believe my body has done what it needs to do.

I’m most looking forward to: Meeting our little boy.  Also, getting back into shape and into some cute clothes.

Hardest part of this stage  of  pregnancy: The unknowns – how will it happen, when will it happen, will things go as “planned”?  Also, I’m having a really hard time sleeping.

Any signs of labor: Besides a few braxton hicks here and there I really haven’t had any signs of labor.

What are you doing to prepare for labor ( primrose oil,   exercise  ball, stretches…): Nothing really.  Maybe I should look into the red raspberry leaf tea.

What is left on your to do list: We still need to pack our bags and install our car seats.  I also bought ingredients to make a few freezer meals but just haven’t been able to get myself to do it yet.

Have you fully decided on a name yet for LO  (and share,  if  you’re willing!): Yes, we have the name picked out but haven’t told anyone yet.

Are you getting any help when you return home from the  hospital   (DH,  Mom, MIL..): DH will have 1 full week with us.  After that I know my mom would come as needed, as would the mother in law.  I may eat my words, but currently I’m kind of looking forward to the one on one time with baby after the hubby goes back to work.
