Hey ladies! So.. my wedding is October 2 so I am sure that my invites are out before a lot of yours but let us start our very own RSVP count.
I am currently at 169 invited (desperately hoping for under 170)
39 Yes's
2 No's
Eeek! I need it to at least be down to 160. I am counting on 16 tables.. haha
I am so jealous, LOL....My invites aren't going out until the end of the month 
My invites went out July 24th (a week early!) - Wedding is the 1st of October.
Invited: 198 (was supposed to be no more than 150)
So far:
43 yes
0 no
I am hoping for no more than 170 and 150 would be fabulous!!
@aubrav: I sent mine out July 24th. I was away all last week so it was either then or wait until yesterday. I couldn't wait.
I got 2 more yes's last night so I'm up to 41!
We're at 50 yes's and 7 no's
We invited 170 and I'm pulling for 150 for the final count!!
Of course we've had three guests add uninvited people on their RSVP's. Argh!
Sounds like a bunch of us are in the same boat, my out-of-town invites went out July 19th, I've gotten:
17 yes
6 nos (5 of those we've known for awhile that they couldn't make it)
My venue can only hold 100, we're inviting 122... if the rule of "30% won't show" actually happens we'll be in great shape... otherwise, I'm very worried...
No uninvited guests yet, but a FI who wants to continue to add people is what I have.
My second round of in-town guests goes out today, wish me luck!

I've spoken to a few other people who have said they're coming, but I haven't received their RSVP cards yet, so I'm not counting them for now. FI and I are expecting about 55 people to come, but if by some freak occurrence everyone RSVPs "yes," we can accomodate them. However, I really don't think that will happen.
Yay this is fun! I just sent out my invites last week! 200 invites, 32 yes, 2 no! :) And I haven't checked the mail yet today!
On another note - 4 FAMILIES forgot to put their names on their RSVP card!!! Thank GOD I numbered them!!!
Wow, now I'm nervous that I'm behind! I'm an October 2nd bride and mine aren't going out until Friday of this week! Hope I'm not too far behind schedule...
@StephanieLulu: Well, I only sent mine out this early because my venue originally told me they needed the final count a month in advance - so I made my RSVP date August 25, so I had time to round up stragglers. NOW, my venue was sold and is under new management, and they don't need the info until 2 weeks before the date... but my invites were already printed. (Yeah, and the new management changed the name of the place too - grr!)
Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have sent them out quite this early.
Doing a desination so we sent the invites in June. Sent 15 invites... got 7 RSVPS. HOWEVER, ones that I haven't gotten include my parents, his parents, 3 of our siblings, my MOH, etc. We've gotten RSVPs back from most of our questionables :)

We invited a lot of people we knew probably weren't gonna come (Mr. G's family in England) but wanted to check/show that we wanted them there. We are expecting to have around 50 people.
Sending out invitations that early was not a good idea. Most of the yes responses are from my mom's friends. My friends have really been slacking in putting an envelope in a mailbox.
We sent out Save the Dates, so it bought us some time. We are not sending out our invites until Sept 4.

@Twista: i dont think you are behind at all.. right on time.. i was a bit early due to my vacation...
We sent ours out super early as 80% of our guests are out of town (and 25% on the other side of the world) and we have to have final numbers by 2 September to our venue.
Brilliantly, we've got just about all the RSVPs in now -- we invited just over 100, including some we knew wouldn't be able to make it, and we're now at 82 with nearly all the RSVPs in, which is pretty much what we were hoping for.
[b]glasses[/b], we had the opposite experience -- my friends were great at RSVPing, an my parents' friends absolutely sucked, they were nearly the last ones! And we also found people RSVPing 'no' were much more likely to RSVP late rather than early.
We sent ours early because of a short B list.

We just mailed ours on Monday, haven't checked mail to see if we have received any rsvp's yet. we have invited 300 people, our venue holds 250...and we are hoping to stay below 200. We know some live out of state and won't be able to attend, pray we stay at no more than 250 :-D
My invites just went out yesterday (yay!), but I can't WAIT to get the responses back. I'm going out of town tonight through Monday, and I hope my first response rolls in while I'm gone (although that might still be too early for the first one... but I girl can dream, right?).
First update! Invites went out on Friday & Tuesday..people get their mail fast!

Sent my invites out a touch early for serveral reasons.

So far 79 yes and 2 no.
Feeling pretty good about it!

I am getting married 10/2/10, invites were mailed 7/6 (my 31st bday! LOL!) We sent them early because it's destination for everyone except 7 people.

We're shooting for about 140, and will probably end up right around there.
I sent mine out mid July 8 weeks prior to rsvp deadline. So far i got 69 yes's and 6 no's. I'm shooting for 125.

WOW, RSVP's are coming in fast, and we just mailed our invites out. Between Friday & Saturday we have received

And some others have said they are coming, just need to mail their rsvp's in...so crazy. Feel bad, but kind of hoping for some 'No's'

and now there has been all sorts of family drama on my FI's side... i always heard stories from other people and thought, wow, thank god thats not me.. now we have no idea if something will go down or people we thought we were close to will even show.. and none of the issues have anything to do with us at all. awesome. oh well.

Geez, I better get moving. Mine have been sitting here BEGGING to be mailed for weeks but I thought it was too soon? Obviously I haven't been paying attention...They're going in the mail tomorrow : )
@spicytulip: I'm getting married a week before you and just send my invitations last Thursday. I think you're right on time!
