@sunnywoods:  I’m not sure what I want to do. I don’t want to do the typical jewelry gift that they will most likely never wear again. I need ideas too!

I’m also in the same boat.  Last year on a trip to see FI’s parents in Tucson, we were in the UNICEF store and I found really gorgeous shawls that I bought for the girls.  I figured that’d be something nice they would use again.  My sister/MOH is getting a blue one and the other two bridesmaids are getting a purple.  (Different colors only because I couldn’t find a third purple lol)  Our wedding colors are blue and purple.  I wouldn’t require them to wear it for the wedding, but thought they could use it if and when it got cold that night and in the future.

I felt like that wasn’t enough, so I’ve been trying to figure out what else to give.  Was also thinking a nice pair of earrings, but ehhh.  I found a deal on amazon or google (I don’t remember) for a Starbucks gift basket, so I actually bought it for one of my bridesmaids who LOVES LOVES LOVES starbucks and coffee in general.  I figured this would be the best gift for her since she will definitely use it!

For the other two, at the moment, I’m not really sure what to get for them.  Still trying to get ideas!  We’re also a bit clueless for the groomsmen as well. Lol

For the wedding gift I’m getting them jewelry (I have it picked out, but haven’t purchased it yet) and shawls.

For thank-you gifts for the shower, I’m getting them Starbucks gift cards.

So far, I have gotten each of them a tote bag, a makeup bag, a necklace, and a flask. The make up bag will be filled with a “day of kit” and everything will be put in tote. I’m also doing something for each of them individually but I don’t know what yet. I might get their husbands/boyfriends helps on that part! Oh I’m also sticking in some cute flip flops so they don’t have to stay in heels all night.

At the shower I am going to be giving them a brooch that I want them to wear on a bow on their dresses.

At the rehearsal I am giving them:

  • Real pearl necklaces that my Grandmother is hand making
  • A swarovski crystal bracelet that I hand made
  • black and white scarves
  • black and white mirrors
  • Personalized tote bags
  • I want to give them something else but I can’t think of what.

The day of the wedding I will be giving them another brooch, it will be attached to their bouquet. Each one is different and each one is something that is special to them. Two of the girls have pins that are cats, one has a pin that is a squirrel.

I’m giving them each a nice goodie bag with high-end beauty stuff that they would never normally splurge on: really nice nail polish, lotion, body wash etc. I didn’t want to take a chance that jewelry *I* like wouldn’t actually be their taste.
