I wanted to send mine out at the same tome, but my mom thinks we should go for the first week in august
I'm going to put them in the mail in August, exactly two months from the date!! :) we're getting so close, you guys!!
I'm aiming for mid-end August. You only really have to send them out a couple months in advance and my RSVP date is going to be October 2nd.
@Vegasbab- I KNOW! Holy crap. My countdown is under 150 days and its starting to make me a little nervous. lol. The time went SO fast.
My wedding is almost 1 month after yours, lol - - We're sending our invites out on 8/23 hoping they arrive to everyone by 8/30 (we are the only ones that live in WA everyone is out of state) and then our RSVP date is 9/30.
We are sending ours out end of July, beginning of August with a due date of September 1st.
im going away the last week of august. hoping to send them out Aug 2 for our Oct 2 wedding.. have to decide on rsvp... maybe sept 1.
Hello - I'm a 10.10.10 bride - I have been planning on putting ours in the mail on August first with a Reply on or before September 15!

Wow, I must be late.. Wedding date is 10.23.10 and we weren't going to mail until late August and RSVP by Oct 1...
You should aim for 6-8 weeks before the wedding! Too early and people forget, too late and people don't have time to make plans.

It looks like most of us are on the same page with invites! I'm planning to send mine before I leave for vacation on August 2. The RSVP date is Sept 1, and that's when our hotel blocks close up, too. Ahhh, sooo close!!!
We're sending ours out on August 10. RSVP deadline is October 1.
I'm sending mine out mid July, with an RSVP date date of Sept 2nd, which is a month prior to the wedding. After reading all the RSVP posts I decided I would need extra time following up on my RSVPs. :0 Plus my guest count is due two weeks prior to the caterer.
I am sending mine out on July 16th for an October 8th wedding. My reply date will be by September 10th. Hope this helps!
Last week of July with a RSVP date by 9/1/10. My wedding is 10/22/10. I know that our guests are procrastinators, and I need time to track them all down! Plus, it'll give me a good idea of how many welcome bags to buy, as well as other things

Mine are trickling out already -- started with the furthest away -- since we decided against save the dates we sent the invites early so people could book rooms at the beach (most of the guests live 500ish miles away)
My FI insist the 30th of July...I'm going to try to stretch it out into the first or second week in August. He also wanted all RSVPs returned by Sept 18 for our October 30th wedding. At least he's excited!
Well, after reading these I decided to add a little time. Original plan had invites going out August 27 with an RSVP date of Sept. 17th and wedding of Oct. 9th. It's a small wedding and most people know about it...but there is the fact that there will be some responses that I have to track down. I think I'll bump that to August 21st and keep the rest.
Your plan sounds just like mine! Our wedding is Oct. 10th, and I plan to mail the invites on August 21st and to date our response cards for September 18th. That gives plenty of time (I hope)!! Good luck!
I was thinking the end of july bc most of the guest are coming in from out of town.
Shooting for early August -- August 9th will be two months exactly, so our goal is for people to have them in their hands by then. Self-imposed deadline is August 1st!
I don't even have mine printed yet. yikes! My plan is to send NLT first week of August w/ RSVP date of Sept. 3. Sent S/D and we have a website so most people have already made travel arrangements.
We just printed ours, now I need to put together and address. We are mailing them out July 30th (9 weeks before wedding) with an RSVP date of Sept 10th (3 weeks before), gives me a week to call those who I don't hear back from so I can give the caterer a good head count. Will be fun and crazy! I cannot wait!
July 10th for my 10.30 wedding, I have a lot of out of town guests so I wanted to give mysef ample time and send them out early.
I was planning on sending them out this weekend but after seeing everyone else's post I'm not sure. I don't want to send them out too early, but i calculated 8 weeks prior to wedding with rsvp's due a week and a half prior to wedding.
It is getting so close, I feel nausious. I havent made my invitations yet for 10/31/10. oh boy, I better get on it. I want them out and back early....huge guest list...with a B and C list. YIKES!!! WORST BRIDE TO BE EVER!!! haha
I just finished making mine this weekend, but they're not addressed yet. I'm waiting for a custom fillable label from etsy. The plan is to send them out the first week of August like a lot of you ladies. So close! So exciting!!!

Gees, I was planning to send mine out last week, but I'm kind of glad we didn't now.
Some of the timelines I've seen say 2-3 months ahead. I guess we'll wait til later in the month.

Should recieve them with in a week or two and then send them out. We put our RSVP for August 31st.
