I just have the little things to do (wrap party favors, buy the last of my gifts, final fittings).
I can't believe it!
I had a awesome shower at the end of July and have another B-party in two weeks while the fifi is away in Vegas.
Little stuff here as well, have my final fitting this week, I'm pretty well organized, and right on schedule, though I'm struggling tracking down non-responders. It's stamped. Really.
I am currently feeling: vindicated. Right now my family is freaking out, saying "do you know we only have a MONTH? We have so much to do!"
Who wants to mock my planning schedule now huh?
I can't stop saying this. For so long I kept thinking everything was going so slow. Everyone would tell me to wait until 100 days hits. HOLY COW where they right. Time can't slow down and I am loosing track of everything.
@Quietserenity: I am sorry thats what your family is saying, I know all to well that while they think its a friendly reminder its really damaging to hear and makes us want to SCREAM! Not to mention, YES WE DO KNOW THERE IS ONLY A MONTH!
I am starting to freak out at all the little things left to do. Right now I am trying to:
-get my music list set to give to the DJ
-finalize ceremony music and order programs
-wrap up wedding party gifts
-start OOT bags
-find RD dress shoes
Seems like everyone is at the same point, for the most part. Yes, I hate when people remind ME how long we have left. LOL
I have a few things left to do such as programs and getting some lists together for my vendors, but I feel organized and in good shape. We also only have about 3 weeks left since we are going to the OBX for the week before and leading up to the wedding...
The only task I do not like having to do is to tackle down over half of ours responders who never responded! Totally agree that it is stamped and just needs to be placed in the mail. Wasted stamps!
It all is happening so quickly now! I have had both of my showers and my bachelorette party is in 3 weeks. The only things left to do is printing photos for our centerpieces, create our seating chart & programs, create day of timelines and send to wedding party.
I think that is it but will porbably remember something I am forgetting in two minutes!
@PrncssDva: haha sorry I usually spell it out. We are getting married in the Outer Banks (OBX) on the beach.
Also, I love how much FI is jumping on my detail train. Yesterday in a coversation with his Dad, his Dad said "I'll just see who wants to jump in the car the day of, and bring them all."
I had opened my mouth to have a bridal moment (room space, placecards, a place for them to sit--you know, that stuff) but FI beat me to it. He told him that he would love to see them, but he only had enough room for those we invited, and we had to know who would be attending, which by the way, they should send their cards back!
And then, he told me "you know, with only a month to go, the stuff you've been saying is making sense."
I tried to warn him!
Little stuff here as well. Buying the last of the items for the OOT bags, dress fittings, and just making random reservations for activites and such for our time in Vegas (where we are getting married).
Being its a destination wedding, Im totally stressin about the rsvps. We havent gotten a lot back, which is frustrating. They were stamped and ready to mail, so I really wish people would be more on the ball. Oh well.
Gearing up for my shower this weekend...that should be fun (I hope). :)

Last minute details here too. Finalizing with vendors, making payments at the end of the month. Finish buying a few gifts.
The biggest project I have left is the escort cards and I can't do those until the RSVPs get sent back. Deadline is Friday and we have a LOT of phone calls to make!
@sboston06: I hope that more people respond back, so that you don't have to call so many people!
I finally got my shoes today, so that's taken care of. We still need to decide what shoes & jewelry BM's are wearing. My dress needs to go to the dry cleaner. We'll be completing our mock centerpiece this weekend, along w/ the programs. Need to send final music selections to both DJ & harpist. We need to start seating tables & seating cards. It's all the little crap that's driving me absolutely insane! I hope I can get a majority of it done this weekend & stop stressing so much. 32 days for us!! AAAAHHHH!!!
@CaraMia10: I know about those small details. It seems like that's what everyone here is down to. These are the things that I dreaded and was happy that I didn't have to do at the beginning. I had a 1 year Engagement! Now it's time for them, lol
Still waiting for about 20 RSVP's and the deadline is next week. Other than that things are on track. My sister is coming in from Germany a month early (that's next week!) so I'll have help with all the little stuff.

get the cake and the bouquet
and pick up my sailor from the airport
everything else is done :D
