@MmeSilverBullet:  I posted this under ‘ideas’ but I was wondering if we could do a post a thon for the waiting bees lol/NWR.

It seems that the post a thon is advertised for bees looking for wedding help, swapping diy’s projects, etc, so I know I stayed away from it last time lol….just a thought!!!

@veryberry13:  Hey hun! That’s a great idea. Just to be clear though…the post-a-thon is a boards-wide thing. Everyone is welcome! There will be chat thread that will just be about random things (usually things like Netflix, haha) and then we encourage everyone to start new threads with questions or if they need advice from the hive about pretty much anything! The goal of the post-a-thon is to have a ton of people online at once to answer all kinds of questions, wedding-related or not!

I still participate in post-a-thons, and I’ve been married for over two years, haha! So you definitely don’t have to be engaged or actively planning a wedding to participate! 🙂

@veryberry13:  Awesome! And definitely feel free to start threads on things that aren’t just about weddings. We’re here to chat about all kinds of things all evening! 🙂 But of course if you have any specific ideas on how to make sure waiting/NWR ladies feel more included…feel free to share those too!

@musical-lady:  Yup, the life of musicians. 🙂  I’m a piano teacher and my working hours are from 2-8pm, give or take.  Makes it hard to partake but I try to poke in when I get home, to see if anyone is still on!

@pengoala:  We are always busy!

My FH is a piano teacher too 🙂  I teach flute.

@musical-lady:  Ooh, no way! That’s awesome! I used to play the flute. Keeping up both the flute and the piano proved to be kind of difficult! :/

@pengoala:  Oh cool! I’ve been playing flute for about 11 years now, started in 7th grade. I did piano for a year or so as well but my parents couldn’t afford both lessons so I had to choose! I learned guitar later on in high school, in music class, but it was on condition that I bought my own guitar.

A lot of solo flute music requires piano accompaniment, so I often play with FH for performances. Weddings too, but I’m not doing as many now. Trying to plan my own.

Piano is great though. I wish I continued with it but my parents didn’t have enough money for the lessons.

@musical-lady:  Awesome that you’ve played the flute for so long – I think I made it…about 10 years before I put down my flute halfway through college to focus on piano.  Yeah, paying for lessons is expensive! 🙂
