In April I decided it was time to start trying to change. I was 126lbs then (5’2″) and am down to 115, so that’s eleven pounds I’ve lost and kept off, which I’m really proud of. At my height it has made a huge difference. I’m hoping to be down to 110ish by the time the wedding rolls around. To do it I’ve been keeping my calorie intake to about 1300-1500 a day and trying to exercise about 4 times a week. I’m quite excited as I’ve never seen myself this thin or with muscles before!

I need to get my ass in gear! I was doing Insanity but took a break for my vacation and never really got back into it. I’m starting it over today but I have a hurt foot/ankle (it’s always somethin!) so I’m not sure how well it’s going to go. I really want to loose about 30lbs total but I guess my goal is to tone up, at least, for the wedding. I want my face and arms to slim down so I don’t look hideous in pictures (my dress is a natural waist a-line so from the boobs down, it won’t matter for that day at least…the bridal shower is a different story)

@PrincessPerogie:  My weight loss has been pretty steady, I’ve lost about about a pound a week though I think I’m going to find the last five pounds pretty tough to shift. I want to tone up some more as well. The only thing I really want to fix is my upper arms but most of my weight loss has come from my boobs, haha. It’s getting to the point that I’m starting to look forward to the wedding just for the cake!

I started eating better and running in May, and so far have lost over 10 pounds.  I usually keep my net calories to around 1200 to 1300 per day and that has worked pretty well.  I have another 10 lbs or so that I want to lose, but I’m finding myself plateauing (it doesn’t help that it’s been too hot to run most days this month).  Any tips for making past the weight-loss wall?

I lost a bunch of weight by staying away from carbs (breads, pasta, rice) and dairy.  Of course no alcohol either.

Working out always helps but I was already a 4-5 day a week fanatic.  The eating habits have made a HUGE difference.

I found that when I start eating carbs and dairy again, it’s not hard to maintain.  Only hard to lose the initial weight.  Now don’t go crazy and eat an entire pizza or 1/2 gallon of ice cream…  That’s only allowed on the honeymoon 😉

Good luck ladies!  I’m 21 lbs down in total (dieted back in 2011 and lost 15, maintained and gained 3-4 and re-lost those lbs plus another 5 since I started back again in May 2013).

I started back in October but and kept it off until May. I havent weighed myself since then but I know the last time that I tried on my dress it was a bit big! I havent tried it on in about a month in a  half and I have kinda fallen off the fitness wagon. I am totally down to be a part of this thread. I would like to lose 15 lbs. I have already lost 10lbs.

@PP Me too. I’d like to lose 10-15 pounds (being realistic as I should probably lose more) but I’ve been putting it off!

I could stand to lose 5. My dress fits perfectly, but I definitely don’t want to gain. I hate to work out, so food is going to have to be my motivator lol

I’d be up for Friday check ins 🙂 My goal for this Friday is 115lbs exactly. I’ve been hovering around 115.6 for a few days now, I want to reach a new low and then hopefully another half pound to a pound per week.

I’d like to be about 10 down, 15 really but I’m trying to be realistic. I think ill break my wiifit out of its dusty box and try that for an hour an evening 4 days a week…anybody think that will work?
