I’m always amazed that my OEC will find ANYTHING to reflect off of, even in the dark. Sometimes I’ll be in bed at night and with just the dim light from a streetlamp, it will be going crazy.

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  I must do this, it’s gorgeous!!! The closest I’ve gotten to fire so far are the pics below, need to capture it on my finger though

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  Absolutely breath taking! I have similar photos of a day when it was extremely sunny here, the sun was coming through my curtains and when I opened them it was actually blinding hahaha, but a little bit of sun coming in put on a light show similar to yours (I think your fire is stronger?)

And then boom! Fire explosion!

From what I’ve read OECs were cut to maximize brilliance in candlelight. I think it’s a beautiful cut. Here’s my fire.

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  I finally saw my OEC under direct sunlight for the first time since I’ve had it! Talk about crappy winter. Anyways, I captured this video and this pic:

@FutureDrAtkins:

@LeSpice:  Absolutely positively stunning!!! I love the fire in Moissy’s

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  Do you think round cuts can do something similar in dim lighting? I seriously want to try this and may consider changing my stone to an oec just for the fire even though I do love my round brilliant lol
